Not many dolphins , took ages to arrive .

They asked you to be at 6am , however boat came 640. It takes 1 hour to get to the spot , we did see some dolphins but since there are so many boats probably the dolphins were def up . Not many in view . The only nice thing is the sunrise .

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. 🐬🌅 We understand that you would have liked to see more dolphins. However, this is a wildlife-watching experience, not a visit to a fixed location where dolphins are guaranteed to be present. They live freely in the Mediterranean, so their location, numbers and behaviour naturally vary from day to day. We were pleased that you did manage to see dolphins, and we hope the spectacular sunrise was also a memorable part of your morning. 🌅🐬 Thank you for choosing **Nofrills Excursions**.

    Sunset trip to see dolphins

An early start that took us to see dolphins swimming in their natural environment. About 45 minutes travelling and the same watching dolphins swim and play close by. On the trip back we had breakfast which included Breadrolls with cheese and ham plus a croissant with coffee or hot chocolate and orange juice. A great trip out hosted by pleasant and helpful crew. Thanks !

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🐬🌅✨ We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the dolphin-watching experience and were able to see the dolphins swimming and playing in their natural environment. Watching these beautiful animals at sunrise is one of the most magical experiences Mallorca has to offer. 😊 It's great to know that you also enjoyed the breakfast served on the return journey. After an early start, a fresh bread roll, croissant, hot drink and orange juice are the perfect way to relax while taking in the morning views of the coastline. ☕🥐🍊 A special thank you for your kind words about the crew. Everything about this trip was superb.

The boat was busy but we were travelling with 2 children in wheelchairs and were prioritised throughout. Pastries and coffee were great. The staff communicated where the dolphins might be and how long until we got there. It isn't an exact science and sometimes they have to change plans to adapt. We were reminded about being respectful to both the marine life and to ensure everyone on board got to see (ie don't rush the sides of the boat etc) Well worth the early wake up!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 🌅🐬✨ We’re truly delighted to hear that your Sunrise Dolphin Watching trip was such a positive experience for your family. We’re especially happy that the crew could assist and prioritise your children throughout the excursion. Making all guests feel comfortable, safe and included is extremely important to us 😊 You also perfectly described the reality of dolphin watching: these are wild animals in their natural environment, so every trip is unique and sometimes routes need to adapt depending on where the dolphins are spotted. We’re glad the team kept everyone informed and helped create a respectful atmosphere on board for both the marine life and all passengers. 🌊🐬 And of course… pastries, coffee and a magical sunrise at sea always help make the early wake-up worthwhile! ☕🥐✨ At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we pride ourselves on offering memorable, respectful and family-friendly experiences at sea. Thank you again for your recommendation — we hope to welcome you back on board again soon! 🌴✨ — The Nofrills Excursions Team

Lots & Lots of Dolphins - We Were Over the Moon!!!!

We were over the moon with this trip. There were lots of dolphins - large and small -- swimming right up close to the boat. Here's why: dolphins are more active first thing in the morning with social behaviour and hunting. Also, more active at low tide. So the 5am rise to see them was well worth it as everything was aligned. Once we understood these things, we realised why we had not seen dolphins before on any of our boat trips in other countries? Those were during the daylight hours when it was much more hit and miss. The boat crew were lovely - helpful and kind to passengers who were unwell from sea sickness (it was choppy). They didn't hype it up with a long talk about the history of the area etc etc -- they just got on with their job of taking us to see the dolphins, smiling and joking along the way. The skipper was whistling to the dolphins as soon as they appeared which was really sweet and magical. If you're wanting to see dolphins, this is a trip you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Response from the operator: Hi ngweekendsaway 🌅🐬⛵ Wow — thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re absolutely delighted that you had such a magical experience on the Sunrise Boat Trip in Mallorca with Dolphin-Watching. Seeing dolphins, both large and small, swimming right up close to the boat at sunrise really is unforgettable, and it’s fantastic that you appreciated why this early morning trip gives the best chance to witness their natural behaviour. We’re also glad to hear how much you valued the kindness of the crew, who always do their best to look after guests, even on choppier days at sea. The skipper whistling to the dolphins is indeed a sweet touch that makes the moment even more special. At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we love creating well-organised and memorable moments like this that stay with our guests for a lifetime. In the future, you can always contact us directly — on our website we have WhatsApp for discounts and personalised tips. We hope to welcome you back again soon for another Mallorca adventure! 🌴✨ — The Nofrills Excursions Team

Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alcudia Sunrise Dolphin-Wathcing Boat Trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
