1. Clock Tower

   Today, the clock tower is one of the symbols of Podgorica and represents the most beautiful example of architecture from the period when the Turks ruled this area. With its height of 16 meters, it dominates and represents the border between the old and new parts of Podgorica. The Clock Tower was the tallest building in Podgorica until the middle of the 20th century. The tower was built by Mehmed Pasha Osmanagić at the end of the 17th century. For a long time it was the center of events in Podgorica, and even today it is a landmark for people coming to the city. A clock mechanism from Venice is installed on the top of the tower, but it has been broken for a long time and does not show the correct time.

2. Waterfall Niagara

   One of the most beautiful and accessible waterfalls in Montenegro is located near Podgorica, at the Cijevna river. The river itself flows from the Prokletije mountains near the Albanian border. When the snow on mountain tops melts in the spring, the river is swollen with water and flows beside endless vineyards and fields into the Morača river and Lake Skadar. Nearby the junction of Cijevna and Morača there is a picturesque waterfall that locals half-jokingly call Niagara. Of course it is much smaller than its namesake, but the similarity is striking as it is wide with many side streams near the main waterfall.

3. Rozafa Castle

   Rozafa Fortress, located in Shkodra, Albania, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, including the confluence of three rivers. Steeped in history, it dates back to ancient times and is famous for its legends and strategic importance throughout the centuries. Visitors can explore its well-preserved ruins while learning about its rich cultural heritage and the myths that surround its construction.

4. Venice Art Mask Factory

   We will visit and enjoy the renowned mask-making workshops in Venice Art Mask Factory in Shkodra, where artisans create stunning masks right before our eyes. It’s a journey into the heart of Albanian culture and creativity.

5. Shkoder

   As we stroll through the lively center of Shkodra, we’ll be immersed in its rich blend of history and culture. The charming streets, lined with colorful buildings and bustling cafés, will lead us to landmarks like the Marubi National Museum of Photography, the Ebu Bekr Mosque, and the grand Shkodra Cathedral. Along the way, we’ll discover local artisan shops, lively markets, and hidden courtyards, capturing the true essence of this vibrant Albanian city.

   At the end of our journey, we’ll relax and take in the stunning beauty of Lake Skadar, where crystal-clear waters meet the rolling hills of the national park.
