The journey and the destination were worth the trip.

This was a fantastic trip. Our driver, Braham, was exceptional. The journey through the Atlas Mountains was spectacular. Ait Benhaddou was an amazing exploration. It was really relaxing to watch the gorgeous scenery around every corner. Merci beaucoup!!

Sit Ben Haddou from Marrakesh

This was the perfect private tour arrangement for our family of four to spend together on a day trip Said, our guide and driver, was punctual, friendly, and helpful. Most importantly he was flexible What we preferred was the chance to visit the sites and explore at our pace with only a little guidance. This was far better than most large tours with a stricter schedule. Said was someone we genuinely enjoyed spending the day with. He also helped us find good takeout food when we returned to Marrakesh.

Amazing Day Trip

We booked online and it was super easy. We were contacted by Said about the pick up time at the hotel and they were very flexible. Our guide Hamsa picked us up at our hotel. The car was very nice and good A/C. The trip was beautiful all the way going through the mountains to the two kasbahs Telouet and Ait Benhaddou in Ouarzazate. Hamsa was not only an awesome driver through the ups and downs curves of the road but was also very kind and respectful asking where we wanted to stop and how long we wanted to be at each place. Also he we could ask to stop to take pictures anywhere on the way and he would do :) The trip was beautiful not only for the historical sites but also a great nature experience. We definitely recommend not only the tour but Explore Sahara Tours. We will definitely come back to Marrakech and hire them again :)

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review on Tripadvisor. We are delighted to know that all of you had a wonderful time in Morocco. We look forward to welcoming you again for a new Moroccan adventure to discover more wonders of our country. Kind Regards

How far in advance should I book Ait Benhaddou Full Day Trip from Marrakesh?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
