On this wonderful tour, which we will do in private transportation, we will visit a beautiful place located in the middle of the Antioquia mountains. We will visit the largest and most magnificent waterfall in the entire region. There we will take a walk to the base of the waterfall, where you can feel the Lenard effect, an electrochemical process that will recharge you with energy. We will also see a beautiful coffee plantation while we enjoy this delicious drink, coffee, in a beautiful viewpoint. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the highest zip line in Colombia, with a height of more than 300 meters and a length of 700 meters. To close with a flourish, we will relax in the hammocks in the sky while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains and waterfalls. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience

Beautiful
This was an amazing experience, the drive there was fun to see some different towns and amazing views from the hike/zip line/hammocks. It was a lot of walking/hiking so be prepared, but well worth it !

Amazing day 😝🤟
This tour was incredible. The scenery was spectacular. They picked us up from our hotel on time, and we headed to a place where we could enjoy the zipline, the hammocks, and the beautiful waterfall. The attention from the entire staff was excellent. Visiting Medellin is a very nice experience. We would do it again without hesitation.

Tour is fine. Guide was not.
We booked this tour thinking it would be a private, organized experience. However, what we received was not that. I’ll divide the problems into two: the “private tour” experience and our tour guide. We got to the zip line station and went across with no problems. However, we soon realized that none of the activities for the tour were booked in advance. We got to the ticketing center and the person asked if we had prior reservations and our tour guide said no, which on a busier day could have been a problem. After going down the zipline and finally purchasing our tickets for everything, we proceeded to start trekking down to the waterfall. Our tour guide told us that he was having knee problems and so he didn’t accompany us down to the waterfall, so we went down alone. When we got back, we were greeted by a woman that said she spoke to our tour guide to ask if two girls could come back to Medellin with us and he said that it shouldn’t be a problem and then she asked us if it would be ok for that to happen. We didn’t initiate and we felt like we couldn’t refuse. We left the zipline/waterfall spot much later than expected, at 6pm and ended up making it back to the hotel slightly past 8pm. This was much later than what was expected. That was the end of the tour. Our tour guide unfortunately made the experience less than desirable. Other than bringing us to and from the waterfall and zipline spot, he did nothing to add to the experience and in fact made the experience worse. After we had gotten back from the waterfall hike alone, we proceeded to have lunch with our tour guide. We engaged in small talk but some of the conversation was awkward, such as being shown a video of a snake strangling a rabbit and then eating it. On the way back up to the car after we had completed activities and picked up people for our journey back, we had a bit of an uphill climb to endure. We had to stop several times for our tour guide so he could catch his breath for up to 10 minutes per stop. We made around 3-4 stops on the way up with significant rest at each stop, delaying our trip even further We finally reached a point almost at the top and, unprompted, our tour guide told us that we should take a picture between us and these strangers that we had picked up on the way. After the picture, we then rested around 10-15 mins more. Finally, we reached the top and our tour guide ended up buying a soda so he could rest some more. We eventually ended up making it back to the hotel. This was not a private tour. Our tour guide didn’t guide us anywhere and only acted as a taxi and made the experience less than desirable. This gets two stars as the activities went as promised.

epic experience, make it happen!
Immaculate views, fantastic guide, and wonderful exercise; could not have asked for a better day. We hiked to the zip line (over 700m!), had a nice lunch with coffee from the mountains below us, spent some time at the base of a beautiful waterfall and relaxed in a hammock tied to the zip line 400+ meters above the ground!

Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Medellín.
How much does Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Medellín usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Medellín is not rushed.
Is Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Medellín, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Medellín can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Medellín and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Aerial Hammocks, Zip and Waterfall Trek on Medellin Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Medellín within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Medellín?
+
On Outty we rank every Medellín experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guatapé Tour: Piedra del Peñol with Boat Tour, Breakfast, Lunch, Half Day Bike Tour in Medellin - Local snack, Coffee or Beer, Guided Tour of Comuna 13 Medellín with Snacks Included. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Medellín?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Medellín?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
