What you'll see and do
South Slope of the Acropolis of Athens
As in every good story, everything begins with an introduction. It's not easy to tell the story of one of the most historically rich cities in the world. Yet, we aim to give our guests a broader perspective. That's why, at the beginning of the tour, we offer a concise lesson on the creation of human civilization, and then we place ancient Greek civilization — and Athens in particular — within that framework, so that people can truly understand its importance and contribution.

Theatre of Dionysus
The first monument we will see on our way up to the Acropolis is the Theatre of Dionysus — the first theatre in human history. This is where theatre and drama as a practice were born, and where the earliest plays — tragedies and comedies — were performed in front of the Athenian public. These plays were written by some of the most famous writers of all time, including Sophocles, Euripides, and Aeschylus.

Above and Beyond All Expectations!
This tour was exceptional. Haralampous went above and beyond all of the expectations of this tour. His passion for the subjects that he described was endless. He was friendly and approachable from the start, always encouraging us to ask questions and debate. He cares so deeply that our 3.5 hour tour went for 6 hours! And we enjoyed every moment and would have spent the whole day with him if we could. It is not just a historical tour, but a teaching on philosophy, ethics, and a discussion on the future grounded in lessons from the past. We recommend this tour many times over!

The most interesting tour I had, ever
Nothing is more interesting than someone who really likes what he teaches. This was a non-stop, history-packed tour mixed with comedy and phosophical questions about our past, present and future. If you are the kind of person who like to learn and/or be exposed to knowledge this is the experience for you. Our guide lit our minds with his passion for knowledge on Greek history. It was a very enjoyable experience. If you're into these things, it is really worth it.

Excellent historical tour of the Acropolis
The tour is everything and more than one might expect from tour with a guide who understands the Greek history. Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable and he connect the history of Ancient Greece to our current time. If you want a deeper understanding of Greece’s impact on the world, this is your tour. One caution: if 4 hours of standing and walking on rocks isn’t doable for you, you should avoid it. 🤗

A Tour That Connects the Past to the Present
This was an excellent tour! Be prepared that it lasts at least 4 hours and requires a lot of standing and walking over rough terrain. It is perfect if you love learning about ancient Greek history, how the city grew, and how old traditions connect to life today. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and left us with great insights that we are still talking about days later.
