Wonderful private tour of the Acropolis
Communication with the tour company was easy and helpful from the moment I booked the tour. Maria was our guide and she was amazing. She is so knowledgeable and thorough. We started in the museum, which was beautiful. Maria walked us through and we learned so much. By the time we got to the Acropolis, we knew what we were looking at and it made walking through the grounds so much more enjoyable as we already knew so much about the site. We were able to ask lots of questions and discuss many details since it was a private tour. Such a wonderful experience, thank you so much!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Always at your service.

Wonderful way to learn about the Acropolis and the history of Greece!
Excellent way to visit the Acropolis Museum and site. Our guide, Anda, provided us with a depth of knowledge about every item in the museum and guided us to overlooked aspects of the site. Her passion for the history of Greece was infectious and she provided a broad, balanced amount of information. She was accommodating of our needs and able to adjust the tour to our specific interests and physical abilities. It was very enjoyable to spend the day with her and we left feeling that we got much more out of the experience than if we had visited alone of in a larger tour group. Additionally, she pointed out all of the best angles for photography and took some great photos of us that we will treasure. We highly recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Always at your service.

Great Tour
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Museum and Acropolis were amazing. View from the top is spectacular. Guide stopped to take group pictures for us. Museum portion could have been a hair shorter but overall would absolutely recommend.
Response from the operator: Dear Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are always at your service.

How far in advance should I book Acropolis of Athens, Acropolis Museum Skip The Line Private Sunset Guided Tour?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
