We will head southwest on Provincial Route 86, enjoying the landscapes of Cacheuta until we cross the tunnel that connects this town with Potrerillos. Basic experience to see Aconcagua!

Nice experience for all! Just note you will stay a long time inside the car travelling to the park. The stops help to get there and guides are very polite and experienced.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your detailed review. That's right—the tours are long, but we try to make the experience better with the stops so we don't miss any of the scenery. We're glad you enjoyed it, and we send you regards from our entire team!

Bravos to Our Guide and Driver

My Guide is a mountain climber himself but he was also very knowlegable about the political and social history of the area and its border with Chile Our driver was a very even tempered man, always gregarious and helpful. I would gladly give this tour a 5 star rating but I believe there is always " room for improvement"

Response from the operator: Hello Daren! Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the Aconcagua tour and felt well accompanied by both your guide and driver , we’ll make sure they receive your compliments! And of course, we truly appreciate your honest feedback. We agree there's always room to grow and improve, and your comments help us do just that. We hope to welcome you again soon for more adventures in Mendoza! Best regards

    Roof of the world

Unforgettable day in the Aconcagua Park with Federico and Mauricio. This place is definitely one of the wonders of the world and Federico is not only an experienced mountain guide but also the local custodian and historian with endless knowledge abut the region. Whole family was happy and tired in the end and we got a good flavour of the beauty of Aconcagua - but now want to experience a longer stay up in the mountains for next time.

Response from the operator: Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that your day in Aconcagua Park was unforgettable. It sounds like Federico and Mauricio truly made the experience special, and we couldn't be happier that your whole family enjoyed it. Federico’s passion for the region and his deep knowledge really do add a unique touch to the adventure. We're excited to hear that you're already thinking about your next visit, a longer stay in the mountains sounds like a wonderful idea! We’d love to welcome you back for another amazing experience in the future.

Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mendoza.

How much does Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mendoza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mendoza is not rushed.

Is Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 228 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Mendoza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience?

    +

Around 80 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mendoza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mendoza and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Aconcagua Trip Full-Day Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mendoza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mendoza?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mendoza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include High Mountain, Aconcagua and Inca Bridge, Andes High Mountain full day Tour, Horseback riding and roast in the mountains of Mendoza. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mendoza?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mendoza?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
