Beautiful day with great sites and hikes!
Wonderful day with our guide Jess. We saw all the highlights of Acadia and still got in a few great hikes. She did a great job of setting the tone for the day and took great care of us!

Day in Acadia with Asher
My husband and I did a full day hike with Asher in Acadia. Asher was terrific and tailored the hike to what my husband and I wanted/needed. Asher also went out of her way to make sure we saw all the highlights Acadia had to offer including Dorr Mountain trail, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole and the Ocean Trail. We really loved every minute of our day and had a great lunch overlooking the water. Care was clearly taken with everything that was planned. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: We're so glad to hear about your personalized and wonderful trip with Asher! They sure do know how to plan a trip around the park. Thanks for joining us and we hope to have you along another Good Trip soon!

A Great Day in Acadia!
The hike/tour included 3 solo travelers and a couple. It was a perfectly curated day. Hannah thought of everything. With her knowledge of glaciers and Acadia Park history, she made the day fun and interesting. We had two hikes, one in the morning and the other after lunch. Both were Level 2 as expected. In between, she drove us around and pointed out all the best spots. She brought great snacks and also shared local potato chips and blueberry soda for our self-provided lunch. Highly recommend this tour company for solo travelers and families alike.
Response from the operator: That's so great to hear about your fun day with Hannah! She knows her way around the park and we're glad she can provide you with some yummy local snacks! Thanks for joining and we hope we can have you on another tour again soon!

Best tour for our Family hands down
If you’re visiting Acadia, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Asher. This was, without question, the best tour—and Asher was the best tour guide—we’ve ever experienced. From our 10-year-old to our 75-year-old, every member of our family was completely engaged from start to finish. Asher has an incredible gift for storytelling, bringing the history, geology, wildlife, and culture of Acadia to life in a way that’s both educational and entertaining. Asher’s passion for the park is contagious, and their depth of knowledge is truly impressive. Beyond the amazing stories and information, the entire experience was flawlessly organized. Every stop, every transition, and every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the day completely stress-free. It was logistical perfection, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the country. We’ve been on many tours over the years, and this one set a new standard. Thank you, Asher, for creating memories our family will be talking about for years to come. We couldn’t recommend this tour more highly!
Response from the operator: We're so glad that you enjoyed this educational and entertaining tour with Asher!! They know their way around the park and we're glad you got to visit Acadia with us! We hope to have you again in one of our other amazing National Parks!

Why this scores 76

Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bar Harbor.
How much does Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike cost?
+
Prices start at $427 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bar Harbor usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bar Harbor is not rushed.
Is Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 137 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bar Harbor, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike?
+
Around 48 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bar Harbor can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bar Harbor and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Acadia Full Day Small Group Tour & Hike start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bar Harbor within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bar Harbor?
+
Bar Harbor is Acadia National Park access: Park Loop and Cadillac Mountain tours, carriage road bike rides, lobster boat trips, puffin cruises and sea kayaking. Cadillac sunrise reservations are the detail most listings miss. On Outty we rank every Bar Harbor experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Narrated Bus Tour of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park (3.5 Hours), Narrated Bus Tour of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, Guided Ebike Tour of Acadia National Park Carriage Roads. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bar Harbor?
+
June to October, with autumn colour in early October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bar Harbor?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
