Amazing guide and great experience
I travel often and have used private guides all over the world, but this was by far one of the best tours we’ve ever experienced. Our guide, Hassan, was exceptional. He is very knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and clearly passionate about his beautiful city. A lifelong resident of Marrakech, he knows every hidden corner and local shortcuts. He showed us around like a true insider and even helped us negotiate prices in the markets. If I could give him ten stars, I absolutely would!

Don't waste your money!
The magical tour started with our tour guide, Omar, arguing with us that dinner wasn't included (I see that they have changed the descriptions now) and then him grumbling every time he had to pay for something. He said he wouldn't take us to the main square because it has animal cruelty and the food is unsanitary. Instead he took us to a hole in the wall (literally) which was probably his buddies place and was served unappetizing and bland oxtail, beef cheek, beans, spinach, and bread. Nothing had any of the flavours we expected from Marrakech. As for the drink, he did take us to a roof top place but it sure wasn't overlooking the square, remember, he doesn't like the square. The high light was the yogurt.
Response from the operator: Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations and that there was confusion about what was included. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we regret that the dining experience and overall tour fell short. We take your feedback seriously and will review it closely with our team to ensure better communication and quality moving forward. All the best, Withlocals Team

Fantastic guide
Thank you to our great guide Lahcen for looking after us on this trip. Lahcen was very informative and we learnt a lot about Marrakesh, he also took us for tea (which we have to say has been the best tea we have tasted on our whole trip). We were really well looked after and had a great couple of hours

A Magical night
We had a great night with Houssaine. Houssaine was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Houssaine was able to alter the tour when my young son started to tire and took us too some truly local gems. Highly recommended.

Evening tour in Marrakech
We had a very nice evening tour of the Medina with Mohamed, who is knowledgeable and passionate about his city. The tour was fairly fast-paced as there was much ground to cover, but also included sampling different types of local food which, we didn't expect (the description said a snack, but it was enough to make us cancel our dinner reservations for later). Overall it was a nice tour, thanks Mohamed!

A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $23 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 101 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour?
+
Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does A Magical Evening in Marrakech: Private City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
