A Full Day Trip to cairo from Sharm El-Sheikh

Tourist Trap!

We paid €59 per person for this excursion, and the advertisement clearly stated that the Egyptian Museum was included. However, when we arrived, we were told that we had to pay an extra €30 per person to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Otherwise, the ticket only covered the old museum, where there is very little to see in comparison. This is misleading and feels like a complete scam. The company is not professional or transparent at all. These additional costs should be clearly stated in the advertisement before booking. I really enjoyed Egypt, but I was extremely disappointed by this dishonest and money-grabbing behavior. Avoid this excursion if you don't want to be ripped off!

Excellent trip and well worth the money.

An excellent experience. This hs to be the best value trip. You donnd see so much. Pick up great and if you didn't get a visa for travel at the airport they will sort it before you leave Sharm. You do leave the main coach and swap guides demending on the lnguge you speak however you are well looked after. The lunch. There are additional costfotbthebNile trip and a camel ride at Giza but that's opptional. If you are thinking of going then book this trip. It's a long day but worth it.

Incredible day

This is an amazing excursion. We saw so much and so many amazing things. The guides are amazing and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Downsides- the bus journey is very long from Sharm be prepared. I had to pay for a lot of extras throughout the day It needs to be clearer about the Visa and the stamp etc as I missed this and ended up having to pay extra

Long, tiring, and unpleasant hidden extras

Very tiring day. Enjoyable, but be prepared for the hidden extras. £10 tourist tax. An additional £25 if you want to see the new museum, and only a very short time in the actual museum. Lunch provided, but drinks are extra. £3 for a small can of sprite and £2 for a bottle of water.. An optional sail on the Nile, possible confusion during translation but the 2 hour sail, was in reality another £10 and a half hour wee trip and right back. A huge programme crammed into one day, but so much time wasted with no clear updates what the wait was for. Staff were lovely and it's still a budget way to see the pyramids. But I would not recommend going by bus if you can afford the alternative to fly.

Do not book this experience

The operator for this experience is dangerously disorganized and communication with you during the experience is terrible. There were way too many instances where my best friend and I did not feel safe (one of many examples: having to get off the bus while it’s pitch black outside and it’s 3 in the morning) because we had absolutely no clue what was going on. Outside of being disorganized and lacking communication skills, the bus ride to Cairo from Sharm is dreadful. Save yourself the headache and fly. It is more expensive but I promise you’ll have a better experience. Seeing the pyramids, sphinx, and museums, and visiting the various shops was enjoyable but I hate that my experience with the operator overshadows that. Please do not book this experience.
