Situated in Maraza (currently part of Gobustan district), the Diribaba Mausoleum represents a significant historical and architectural monument within Azerbaijan. Constructed in the 15th century, this two-story structure is hewn directly into a vertical limestone cliff, exemplifying an integration of natural geological formations with Islamic architectural principles. The tour proceeds to the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi. It is 25 minutes driving distance from Diribaba to the Mosque. The Juma Mosque of Shamakhi (Friday Mosque), originally built in the 8th century (744 AD), is one of the oldest and most significant Islamic structures in the Caucasus region.
