Great walking tour
The trek was excellent. The guide gave us a lot of info and always asked if we wanted the easy or harder route. The scenery was beautiful despite the morning rain and the lunch was exceptional. The driver was good and on time for each pick up Thank you for a lovely experience

A great and well organized tour with a serious agency !
We booked a one-day tour including Fansipan Mountain, with a cable car ride and trekking through local villages. The booking process was very easy, and Tinh provided us with all the information very clearly and precisely. Our guide, Sing, was very kind and gave us lots of information about village life, including local customs, traditions, and medical habits. He also gave us the opportunity to visit a typical house, a tailoring workshop, and more. We had a very good lunch at a local market, where we ate well-cooked traditional food. We would also like to mention the great courtesy they showed us in the morning: we arrived in Sapa at 6 a.m. by bus, and they hosted us in a room at the agency’s headquarters, where we were able to sleep for two hours and take a shower. Thanks for everything !

A Remarkable Trip to the nature...
We are a group of 8 Uncles traveling. We really enjoy the walk even we caught in the rain. The travel guide Mo Mo is super caring, she worried we got wet and catch a cold. She ensured we are all safe and enjoy the trip. The walk to the village from the top is easy and scenic. We took a lot of photos and we really recommend you to join this tour. And Mo Mo, she is really good … Mr Tinh from the boss of the tour agency is also good. He helps to coordinate the Sapa hotel, transportation from the Lao Cai train station to Sapa and lastly the transportation from Sapa back to Hanoi. He ensures everything runs well for us, often text to check the status. He is really good and caring. He even help us to recommend cheap and good restaurant for us to dine. We really appreciate his help to make this trip a wonder trip…

Walk/trek in rice fields and villages
I had a really pleasant walk/trek in the rice fields with local guide, Zing. She chose a route based on my interests and ability, and ensured that I was happy with the pace. Zing spoke English well, and was knowledgeable and friendly. This trek gave me the opportunity to enjoy views of the terraces and villages, and learn about local culture, in a way that I could not have done on a driving tour. I’m very glad I did it.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sapa.
How much does A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sapa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sapa is not rushed.
Is A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sapa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sapa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sapa and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does A day Trek to Rice Field in LaoChai-Tavan village-MuongHoa valley start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sapa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sapa?
+
On Outty we rank every Sapa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sapa 2 Days 1 Night From Hanoi - Overnight in Ta Van Village, Glass Bridge, Cat Cat Village, Moana, Alpine Coaster Sapa Tour, Sapa 1 day trek with local guide to the village by Comlam. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sapa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sapa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
