    Trip with family and friends.

Went on the 3.5 hour trip down the coast, which included stopped for swin and food. Brilliant time, crew were great and considering where you are lunch, vegitable paella, salad, bread and oils plus a drink was spot on. There were also seconds if anyone wanted.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your lovely review 😊 We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the 3.5-hour trip along the coast, the swim stop and the lunch on board. It is also great to know that the crew made the experience even better for you. We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back on board soon. Kind regards, Mundo Marino

    Save your Euros!!

Our family of 5 looked forward to taking this trip but were very disappointed with the experience. This review is compared against similar experiences we have had elsewhere. The boat itself was "well used"; the restroom facility needed some attention. We never did sail but motored to the anchoring site and were told to swim only on one side of the boat because of the jet ski traffic on the other side. It would have been nice to anchor in a less active area. A ladder was dropped into the water between the hulls but there was no attendant on hand to assist those who needed it to get back onto the boat. The food service was adequate for such a trip. However. I went to the bar to purchase a beer and the person behind the bar was laying on the floor like it was siesta time. I felt like I was intruding on his time. Our consensus was that the entire crew showed absolutely no "customer service" interaction at all. They were merely anxious to get us back to shore as evidenced by the increased speed to do so. Save your Euros... we do not recommend this trip.

Response from the operator: We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your trip and we are always working on improving your experience. Our crew always cleans the catamarans and boats between trips. They stop where the trip is set to stop as our tour always do but they cannot control how crowded it is going to be. Also, our crew always tries to give their best on every trip they do and they cannot go faster at all nor to arrive to the swim stop nor to get back as they have to consider all climate and sea conditions. Thank you.

    Avoid this trip

What a disappointment. No engagement from the crew at all, dirty boat and expectionally long wait for food. I'd avoid the toilets at all costs. We didn't stop at the intended site but there was no explanation of why. The food is cooked on the boat and takes for ever. We waited so long and when they did start to put some bread out our children took a piece each and got shouted at by a crew member. I've been on many boat trips over the years and can honestly say this is the worst. It seems they are the only ones doing this trip from that specific point and with no competiton they can get away with it. Gave 2 stars as, as my child said "at least it moved and got us there and back".

A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Benidorm.

How much does A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella cost?

    +

Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Benidorm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Benidorm is not rushed.

Is A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Benidorm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella?

    +

Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Benidorm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Benidorm and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does A Day at Sea by Catamaran from Calpe or Altea with Paella start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Benidorm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Benidorm?

    +

On Outty we rank every Benidorm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Benidorm Bike Tour with Hotel Pick up, Kayak and snorkel excursion to Cova Tallada, Entrance to the Motor Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Benidorm?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Benidorm?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
