Los Angeles is a great place to live but a difficult place to visit. Without a proper guide, the city can come off as an unwieldy and dislocated. I want to give people a taste of the fullness of what it’s like to live in LA, delivered in a way only a local can.

Manuel Ortega is unnecessary, the typical waiter who ruins businesses.

I have been visiting El Cunini for more than 30 years, but from time to time they bring in some duds of waiters who are real machines at ruining businesses due to the lack of customer service. Manuel Ortega is one of them, I imagine the manager already has him on their radar. In my case, I will not return to El Cunini until my friends inform me that Manuel Ortega has stopped working there due to the lack of attention I have already had on 2 occasions, and when I ask him please to attend to me, he answers me rudely. On August 18 (the famous day of the strong 4.8 earthquakes in Granada), I was there and he would not attend to me, and other customers even came after and he attended to them, and I had to order the beer and the portions that I always order from another waiter, and he attended to me very well, but Manuel Ortega has a total lack of attention. I leave it there because I believe this very unprofessional man must have more complaints. Best regards, Juan Manuel.

Never order in a place that offers dozens of options

Terrible experience and embarrassing customer management. I had high expectations for this venue, but my experience at La Belle Époque in Lucera was negative. The quality of the food was definitely questionable, to the point that I had to leave the plate practically full. The real downfall, however, occurred at the moment of the bill. I brought the situation to the owner's attention. In response, I was offered a "discount" of 2 euros. I refused. Customer management and care were nonexistent. Highly discouraged.

    Excellent!

Excellent service. The waitresses are very friendly, answered all my queries, the meat arrived at the requested point, and the prices are according to the service. I highly recommend it. I'm coming back on my next trip.

What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?

    +

Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Griffith Observatory Hike: Guided Tour through Griffith Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?

    +

March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Angeles?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
