Disappointed
We deliberately booked this tour to cruise through the speicherstardt. The commentary was not in English as stated. Most of the clientele did not speak German and did not understand the commentary. An occasional comment only in English. The tour did not go through the Speicherstardt. When enquiring with the commentator towards the end of the cruise he stated that the boat wouldn't fit under the bridges due to tides so they adapted the cruise to absorb the 90min. A bigger boat from the same company was conducting the Speinerstard tour 20min after our tour completed, clearing the bridges easily. Commentator was rude and annoyed when we didn't tip him.

Our tour should be English but they have not spoken English at all so we didn’t understand anything at all for 1.5 hours we felt we wasted our time.

Enjoyable Tour
This was a little different from a usual walking Tour. Just sit back and cruise the river. I lost the GPS but listened in on the other points of interest. The Live commentary was lost on non German speaking tourists.

This was an exceptional boat tour. I learned a whole bunch about the history of Hamburg. Our tour guide kept us interested and he spoke Germ and English very well. He had a great sense of humor. I unfortunately do not recall his name! He was very handsome as well!
