The Boat Day Everyone Dreams About
We had the absolute best day on our boat tour — truly one of the highlights of our entire trip! Gerardo (hopefully I’m spelling his name correctly!) was an incredible captain. He struck the perfect balance between letting us relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast while also sharing his knowledge and making it feel like a true experience. He was easygoing, professional, and knew exactly when to give us space and when to point out something special. Throughout the day he slowed down to show us amazing sights, took us to several caves where we could actually swim inside, and even brought us to a hidden spot that required a little adventure to get into — but opened up into a huge, nearly empty cave. It was unforgettable and, in our opinion, so much better than spending money and time waiting for the crowded Emerald Grotto tourist stop. We decided to splurge on the Fratelli Aprea 32 Semi Cabin and it was 100% worth it. If you’re debating the bigger boat — do it. The extra space made the day. There was plenty of room for the three of us to spread out and relax on the couches, enjoy the views, and have Prosecco flowing while cruising along the coast. We visited so many beautiful spots along the Amalfi Coast, saw red tuna swimming, explored caves, swam in incredible water, and Gerardo even recommended a fantastic place for lunch. For anyone reading reviews trying to decide: book with this company, ask for Gerardo if you can, and seriously consider upgrading the boat. It’s worth every penny. Hands down the most memorable day of our trip.

A highlight of our trip!! Amazing day!
Wow, wow, wow! Our full day private boat tour of Capri was nothing short of perfect and magical for my husband and I and our 12 and 14 year old. Our boat captain Pasquele made sure we were well taken care of with snacks, drinks and a fantastic playlist. We had a great time swimming in the caves and various spots as well as seeing all of the caves and hot spots. He is a fantastic driver and maneuvered in and out the caves so easily! We stopped in a nearby town for a nice lunch. Be sure to grab a granite at Mimis...they are delicious! We would book this experience again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for a day on the water seeing the beauty of Capri and the Positano coast. Thank you Boat Experience Positano for an incredible day!

How far in advance should I book 7 hours Private Boat Experience from Positano?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What are the best things to do in Positano?
+
On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
