Traveling with no descriptions and sites until we got there
It was extremely long the guide spoke way too fast. She did a lot of talking to the driver while people were bored or trying to sleep. I felt very dissatisfied with this tour and felt uncomfortable for all of us when she mentioned at the end that it was her birthday and bought herself a cake. I felt like it was a tip grab and very tacky
Response from the operator: We regret to hear about your disappointment. The tour duration was delivered exactly as advertised. Please do not speak on behalf of other participants unless you officially represent them. Please note that your feedback is the only negative feedback received from the entire group. We are not sure about the traditions in your country, but here in Greece we do use cakes for birthdays. 😊 Regarding tipping, it is always optional and never mandatory in Europe. However, many guests choose to show their appreciation when they enjoy the service. It is interesting that such a simple thing seemed “tacky” to you. As the saying goes: “If the shoe fits, wear it.” 😊 Safe travels

Timing and stops are just...
Timing and stops are just right for cruise passengers. Pick-up is convenient right off of the ship at the port. Large bus was about 80% at capacity and tour guide provided history, culture, and personal anecdotes through the bus ride to Lindos. Time there was enough to explore the winding streets with an option to hike up the steps to the Acropolis instead. Stopped at olive oil/honey/ceramics place which was OK. Would've liked some more insight/demos for that stop. It was mostly a touristy gimmicky place to buy their products, although the backdrop and site was picturesque. Ended the tour in Rhodes medieval part of the town which was the best part with the fortress and unique architecture. 9/10 would recommend this if you're on a cruise and there for just 8-10 hours. Timely return to the ship.

Tour was super...
Tour was super informative and interesting. Joanna was our tour guide and she brought every location to life with personal stories to help us connect.

Rhodes is gorgeous
Rhodes is phenomenally beautiful ! Our guide was patient, knowledgeable, funny. The way she made sure we saw every detail was appreciated. The only thing was the stop at the pottery store, not worth and clearly a turist trap. It was unnecessary; one of those things where they get a portion of what you buy.

The Perfect Introduction to Rhodes
The tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Joanna, was very informative and had a wonderful sense of humor. She shared the history of Rhodes in a very engaging way that made us laugh, smile, and learn. She also shared a bit about herself, which made the experience feel more personal. I really enjoyed all of the stops on the tour. When we had free time, my group decided to skip the Acropolis and head to the beach for a swim. Others visited the Acropolis, shopped around, or grabbed something to eat. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy. One thing I really appreciated was that we had the same bus for the entire day. That meant you could leave your belongings on the bus or even stay on it during a stop if you preferred. It made the day feel much more convenient and relaxed. We did spend a little less time at each stop than what was originally advertised. I would have loved to have the full amount of time at the beach, but given that this was only a seven-hour tour, we still had enough time to enjoy it. The schedule was well managed, and we never felt rushed. Rhodes is absolutely beautiful. I took so many pictures that I will cherish for years to come. Best of all, the tour returned us to the cruise port with plenty of time to spare, allowing us to enjoy a little more of the scenery around the port before heading back to the ship. This tour was a fantastic way to experience Rhodes, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.
How much does 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.
Is 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Hour Rhodes Tour Designed Especially for Cruise Passengers start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rhodes?
+
On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rhodes?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rhodes?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
