Beyond the Big 5 in Uganda
My wife and I chose Salt Holidays for a 7-day Uganda safari, hoping to see the Big 5 and experience some primate encounters. What we enjoyed most was how much more the trip offered than those two highlights. From Entebbe onward, the scenery kept changing, and every day seemed to bring a different atmosphere. The primate experience was fascinating, particularly watching them move, feed, and interact naturally around us. During the game drives, we had several exciting wildlife sightings, including elephants and lions, while other animals appeared when we least expected them. Our guide Joseph played a big part in making the experience comfortable. He was approachable, answered our questions, and never pressured us to hurry through a sighting. We had enough time for photographs and simply enjoying the views together. The midrange accommodation suited us well, offering comfort after active days. It was a wonderful way for my wife and me to discover Uganda.

Our 7-day midrange safari started in Entebbe, and it was a very exciting and rewarding peaceful family journey. From the beginning, Salt Holidays organized everything perfectly and they planned well. The guides were knowledgeable and patient, making sure we understood the behavior of each animal we encountered. One of the highlights for us was the boat cruise which gave us a completely different perspective of wildlife. Visiting Lake Bunyonyi was a peaceful contrast to the excitement of the savannah. The accommodations were comfortable and safe. A big thank you to Salt Holidays for making our journey easy and enjoyable. Overall, it was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

Our safari experience is a unique combination of experience and wildlife diversity.
My wife and I recently finished our 7 Days Midrange Safari with Big 5 and primates in Uganda with Salt Holidays as well as a local Ugandan tour organizer. Our guide was very helpful and responsible for our safety. Spotting mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was the most difficult but rewarding part. The trek was steep and muddy, but the hour spent observing a gorilla family up close made the effort worthwhile. Our next destination was Kibale National Park and we got a authentic chimpanzee tracking experience. Queen Elizabeth National Park delivered a strong Big 5 moments, especially seeing elephants cross the road in front of our vehicle. The midrange lodges were comfortable, clean, and served good local meals. Honestly Salt Holidays, everything professionally organized. The boat cruise added sightings of hippos and aquatic birds. Visiting Lake Bunyonyi gave us time to unwind by the water. Unforgettable memories that stay in our rest of life.
