An Outstanding Great Migration Safari Experience

The 7 day trip was amazing. We went to Lake Manyara and saw a lion climbing a tree, which we had never seen before. I was fascinated to see the black rhinoceros and many animals in the Ngorongoro Crater. The biggest experience was the Mara River Crossing in the Serengeti - thousands of wildebeest were crossing the river, crocodiles were also seen. The guide was very good, everything was good. The food and the car were good. Would definitely recommend to those who want to see the Great Migration.

    One trip, countless emotions.

This tour starts from Lake Manyara, where on the very first day we get to see the tree climbing lion. The lion is sitting on the branch of the tree - I have read about this scene, but it is a very different feeling to see it from the front. The moment of entering the Ngorongoro Crater was breathtaking. As soon as I entered the crater, zebras, buffaloes, elephants around and a black rhino in the distance - everything seemed to be together in nature's own kingdom. The most awaited part was the Serengeti and Mara River Crossing. I waited by the river for hours. Suddenly thousands of wildebeest and zebra started running towards the river. Watching them fight through water, mud and streams was surreal and emotional. The guide of Seven Wonders Safaris has kept us in the right position the whole time and explained every moment. It's not just a trip, it's a life experience.

The Natural Beauty of Tanzania - SEVEN WONDERS SAFARIS

I went on a 7 day safari tour with Seven Wonders Safaris and my experience was amazing! We went to Manyara National Park and there we could see lions climbing trees. Then we went to the Ngorongoro Crater and there we saw the black rhino. The most exciting experience was the crossing of the Mara River during the Great Migration to the Serengeti. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants to go on a safari in Tanzania.

Where nature itself stages the play.

We went at the right time-the Mara River crossing was underway. The moment when the herd of wildebeests crossed the river, avoiding crocodiles, was like a scene from a documentary! Our guide Elias knew exactly where to go at what time. We were also amazed to see lions sitting in trees in Manyara. Every moment of our seven-day trip was a vivid chapter.

    Amazing 7-day safari experience!!!

Our 7 day safari with Seven Wonders Safaris was great in a word! On the very first day, we were fascinated to see the lions climbing the trees in Manyara. I was thrilled to see the rare black rhino in Ngorongoro Crater. And the migration of thousands of wildebeest in the Serengeti and Mara River was like a dream! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the entire tour was excellently organized.

How much does 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti) cost?

    +

Prices start at $3538 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti) take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti) suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti)?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Days: Great Migration Mara River Crossing(manyara, Ngorongoro And Serengeti) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kilimanjaro climb, Lemosho Route (8-day), Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route, Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
