This was by far our favorite...

This was by far our favorite vacation to date. This is a well thought out itinerary with seamless planning and never a dull moment. We were able to visit every site mentioned without rushing or feeling pressed for time, it flowed. It seemed as though every single day was a new adventure. Each tour guide was exceptionally professional, smiley, fun, and extremely extremely knowledgeable on the historical facts. Our driver/chauffeur Ravi was with us from our very first day until our last and made sure we were always comfortable he knows the best rest stops for good food and clean restrooms. I have not one single complaint of this trip, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the Golden Triangle of India, and if you can request Ravi as your driver please do so because you will be in the car quite a bit and being with a very safe and professional driver that is friendly makes all the difference. We do not have a specific highlight because we intensely enjoyed every day, every historical site, and even our road trips from one place to the other. I am planning already another trip to India.

We were happy to return to India...

We were happy to return to India from Bhutan and Nepal, I was sick and so exhausted the entire week of our travels in India. We were met at Delhi Airport by a representative and handed over to a driver for the next 7 days! Our wonderful driver Rafi Sharma, who took such wonderful care of us. We traveled very comfortably in his very clean vehicle, Rafi was always on time to pick us up at the hotels and we also appreciated we always had cold water anytime we needed some. I cant say enough about this wonderful, kind, person, he made our visit to India so special! Like I said I dragged myself around India all week, but was happy that we had booked a private tour, so when we met a new guide in each new city I could go at my pace and not waste time, like taken us shopping, which we hate, and telling the guides what we were interested in and not having to stand in the hot sun, pretending we would remember every detail of what they wanted to tell us about each place! Just the highlights, please! We took lots of pictures and the internet can refresh our memories, and fill in the blanks when we returned home.
I was a little concerned the last day because we were taking a train to BEAS and I had read a lot of scams at the train station that targeted tourists. We didnt have a lot of time to find the right entrance and the correct gate, but Rafi came to the rescue, parked the car and took us right to the platform where we needed to board the train! We are so grateful to have met this man, we will never forget him and how safe we felt with him, great driver in this crazy land of insane drivers!
We would highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Rafi to drive, you will not be disappointed!

My friend and I from the States...

My friend and I from the States recently took this tour in early August 2016. The tours in each city visited were well organized. We selected the 4-Star hotel option and all of our hotels were good. We were upgraded in Agra to a 5-Star which was incredible we stayed 1 nt at the Trident Hotel in Agra. I will say that the gap between a 3-Star hotel option to a 4-Star hotel option is pretty high, so it is recommended to pay the extra amount and go with the 4-Star hotel so that you ensure there aren't as many problems with your water, shower, rooms, etc. Each city visited had its own local English-speaking tour guide for us for the day. Each of the guides we had were informative, enthusiastic, and very friendly. The only guide I had a not so great experience with was in Pushkar. The city is small and is very beautiful, especially by the lake. The local guide in Pushkar that we ended up with for the day was more focused on taking us shopping, versus focusing on the tours and completing the tour first. Other than that, all the other guides were great. Our private driver, Pankaj, was amazing and very helpful and friendly, and ensured that we always had bottled water whenever needed, he made sure to get us medicine when we were not feeling well, and always went above and beyond to make sure that we as tourists were happy and most importantly, safe. He also made sure if we needed to use the restroom, that we stopped at nice places with toilets. Our private car was also clean and fantastic, especially during the monsoon season where the heat and humidity was extremely high, and thank goodness for AC! Prior to booking this tour, I had a lot of questions and concerns, and reached out to Jasmeet who was extrememly helpful and very communicative and made sure to ease my worries. The customer service and attention was great, which made this tour even better!

7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar cost?

+

Prices start at $531 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7-Day Private Golden Triangle Tour: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

+

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
