Wonderful trip in Serengeti
We had a great safari experience and would especially like to thank Zadok for taking such good care of us throughout the trip. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the different areas we visited. He was also always patient and flexible with our schedule, and made sure we were comfortable along the way. What we appreciated most was that the whole experience felt very easy and well taken care of. We could simply enjoy the safari without having to worry about the details. Thank you Zadok for making our time in Tanzania so memorable. We would definitely recommend him to anyone planning a safari here!
Response from the operator: Dear Ryan, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. I was especially pleased by one sentence in your review: “We could simply enjoy the safari without having to worry about the details.” For us at Gosheni Safaris, that is one of the best descriptions of a safari done properly. There are many details behind every day in the Serengeti — routes, timing, road conditions, wildlife movements, meals, accommodation, guest preferences and sometimes changes that need to be made along the way. When all of that feels effortless to the guest, it means the team on the ground has done its job well. Your words about Zadock therefore make us extremely proud. Zadock is one of our senior and highly experienced guides, and he represents many of the qualities we value at Gosheni: deep knowledge of Tanzania's wildlife and safari areas, professionalism, safe and responsible driving, patience and, importantly, the ability to understand his guests. I particularly appreciate that you mentioned his flexibility. No two safari days are exactly the same, and experienced guiding is not about rigidly following a program. It is about knowing when to adjust the day, when to spend more time at a sighting and when guests simply need to slow down and enjoy where they are. Zadock, thank you for taking such good care of Ryan and his fellow travelers and for once again representing Gosheni Safaris with the professionalism we expect from our senior guiding team. Ryan, thank you for placing your trust in Gosheni Safaris for your Tanzania journey. Your recommendation of Zadock means a great deal to him and to all of us behind the scenes who work to make each safari run smoothly. We are delighted that Tanzania gave you such wonderful memories, and even happier that you were able to enjoy them without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. From Zadock and the entire Gosheni Safaris team, asante sana. We hope the Serengeti stays with you for many years — and should Tanzania call you back one day, we will be very happy to welcome you again.

Bariki - Best Safari Guide We Could Have Asked For!
Highly recommend Gosheni! We had a Zoom call with William to build the perfect trip for us, and went back and forth until we absolutely nailed it. William was super helpful, patient, and made the whole planning process easy from the very beginning. And then there was Bariki — truly the best guide out there! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to take us on our safari. He is incredibly knowledgeable and knows so many interesting facts about the animals, nature, and the area. He also knew exactly how to plan each day in the smartest way possible, making sure we got the absolute most out of every moment. On top of that, Bariki is funny, super attentive, kind, and speaks amazing English. He made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire trip, and spending the days with him was genuinely so much fun. Our safari wouldn’t have been the same without him. If you’re lucky enough to have Bariki as your guide, you’re in the best hands. Couldn’t recommend Gosheni, William, and especially Bariki more!
Response from the operator: Dear Inbal, Thank you for this wonderful review and, especially, for recognizing the two very different parts of the team that helped bring your safari together. Your journey really began long before the first game drive, with that Zoom call with William. I was pleased to read that you went back and forth until you felt the itinerary was exactly right. We never want our sales team simply to send a standard program and expect the guest to accept it. A private safari should be built around the travelers—their interests, pace, priorities and budget. William, well done. Your patience during the planning stage clearly paid off when the itinerary reached the ground. And then Bariki took over. Inbal, one sentence in your review says almost everything: “Our safari wouldn’t have been the same without him.” That is a tremendous compliment to a guide. Bariki has received many compliments for his wildlife knowledge and spotting ability, but I particularly appreciated that you noticed how intelligently he planned each day. Guiding is not only about finding animals. Every morning involves decisions: when to leave, which direction to take, where wildlife may be moving, when to wait, when to change areas and how to use the available daylight without making guests feel rushed. Experience makes those decisions look easy. But what makes me equally proud is that after spending full days together, you remember Bariki not only as knowledgeable, but as funny, attentive and kind. On a private safari, your guide becomes a very important part of your journey. You share long drives, early mornings, meals, exciting sightings and plenty of conversation. Technical knowledge is important, but personality matters too. The best guide is someone you trust professionally and genuinely enjoy spending the day with. Bariki, hongera sana. Inbal says guests who travel with you are “in the best hands.” Continue earning that confidence one safari at a time. Inbal, thank you for choosing Gosheni Safaris, a locally owned Tanzanian company, and for recognizing both the planning behind the journey and the person who delivered it in the field. For me, that is when our operation is working properly: William listens and builds the right safari; our operations team prepares everything behind the scenes; and Bariki brings Tanzania to life once you are on the road. Thank you for trusting all of us with your journey and for recommending Gosheni so strongly. From William, Bariki and the entire Gosheni family, asante sana, Inbal. And whenever Africa calls you back, you already know whose name to request.

Amazing experience!
We did a 7/8 day tour including Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. Our tour guide, James Elly, was amazing. Incredibly helpful, and very knowledgeable. He made sure we saw all the animals we wanted too, lions, rhinos, the migration, even hyenas, a honey badger, etc. He was also a very good driver and had an inside out knowledge of all of the routes around everywhere. The accomodation and staff were great everywhere, and the jeeps were comfortable, but a bit hot during the day some points as you can expect even with AC. Food and drinks during the safari were very nice.

Exceptional experience
We had an incredible safari experience, and a huge part of what made it so unforgettable was our guide, Calvin Kileo! Here are a few highlights from our trip: Incredible Spotting Skills: Calvin has an exceptional eye for wildlife. He was able to spot all the animals throughout our stay with complete ease—it felt like magic! Ultimate Flexibility: He was amazingly adaptable, tailoring our daily schedule on the fly based on how we wanted our day to unfold. Spot-On Timing & Driving: His driving was smooth and professional, and he estimated checkpoint arrival times with exceptional accuracy. Thoughtful & Meticulous Lunch Setup: For lunch, our accommodation provided picnic meals, and Calvin took the extra effort to meticulously arrange everything cleanly and neatly. He turned a simple picnic into a truly pleasurable dining experience in the bush. Warm & Friendly: Above all, Calvin’s friendly nature made us feel comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. We could not have asked for a better guide. 100% satisfaction—we would recommend Calvin to anyone looking for an extraordinary safari experience!

7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.
How much does 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package cost?
+
Prices start at $12350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.
Is 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package?
+
Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7-Day Magical Tanzania Safari -Premium High End Package start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moshi?
+
On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kilimanjaro climb, Lemosho Route (8-day), Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route, Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moshi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moshi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
