    Bad guía tour

Elka Is the name of the tour guía, she was terrible. She always wanted to get to the hotel quickly, it didn't give us any time to see or take pictures and it didn't explain anything relevant either. We had a problem with an extra activity and we arrived 15 minutes late and she was super rude asking us to apologize to the whole group, she was very rude, when on other occasions some colleagues also arrived late, she just wanted to finish the tour quickly to go to sleep. They should have younger guides with more energy because we are paying a lot for a service. The tour was great 😀 the route or hotels but the guide didn't

    A great time

This holiday far exceeded my expectations. There were some truly breathtaking experiences and everything ran very smoothly. I especially loved the farm stays. Our guide, Thor, was excellent. I enjoyed his calm, understated manner and his story telling and infectious laugh.

Response from the operator: Hi there, far exceeded expectations on a seven-day tour is a high bar. A guide whose storytelling and laugh carry the long drives is what makes a week feel shorter than it is. Thank you for joining us! Arctic Adventures Team

    7 day trip

The tour was great. Fantastic scenery. They could do a better job telling you about some of the hiking to see waterfalls. The website is ok until you want to change something. The company responds very slowly or not at all to requests for changes or questions. I had to make a phone call to sort things out. Our guide John was good and we enjoyed the trip. One stop they could improve is the wilderness center. Was a little rustic.

Response from the operator: Hi there, thank you for the detailed feedback. Glad the trip and the guide worked out well overall. Sorry the website made changes difficult, that's worth us looking into. Your notes on the waterfall hikes and the wilderness center are useful too. Arctic Adventures Team

    Absolutely wonderful!

What an amazing trip! Our guide Lily was wonderful. We did the 7 day tour and it was great. I do wish it had been longer. It was so beautiful, and the others we met on our tour made it even more special.

Response from the operator: Hi Christy, really glad the trip delivered. Wishing for more time after a full week around the island is honestly the highest compliment the route can get. Thank you for joining us! Arctic Adventures Team

Great tour because of our amazing guide. Company changed tour plans through out our trip & he managed to still give us a great tour.

Response from the operator: Hi Lavonda, good to hear this. Seven days with shifting plans and still calling it a great tour says the guide made all the difference. Arctic Adventures Team

7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes cost?

    +

Prices start at $1790 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes take?

    +

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 171 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes?

    +

Around 60 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7-Day Complete Iceland: South Coast, Golden Circle, Akureyri & Snaefellsnes start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
