About this experience

An excellent, extended safari which gives us plenty of time in beautiful Serengeti National Park, and also introduces us to the magic of Tanzania’s other natural Northern Circuit attractions. We will begin our adventure on this five-day adventure in Lake Manyara, small but certainly not lacking in interesting sights, sounds and smells and set against a dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment, not forgetting the glistening lake itself. In Serengeti, we will have a full program of game-drives, letting us explore the stunning and varied landscapes of this famous place. All the time, we’ll be looking for the best wildlife experiences, before we depart for another Tanzanian gem, the incomparable crater of Ngorongoro, on the lookout for a black rhino. Then, we finish our adventure in Tarangire National Park, another of the Northern Circuit’s true jewels and famous for its large herd of elephants and iconic baobab trees.

Outstanding safari with amazing guides!

Right from the start me and my family were taken care of with warmth and kindness throughout our whole experience. Everything felt well organized and smooth, over all very personalized and authentic. We also couldn’t have asked for better safari guides!! Laurien and Zuberi were extremely knowledgeable and passionate, always positive and sharing their amazing expertise on nature and wildlife but also culture, politics and local music tips. Thanks to them our journey was filled with interesting conversations and laughter! We’re so happy we choose to go with Safaris Africa United and support their small local business. Would happily choose them again and highly recommend to everyone!

Amazing

Everything went according to plan. We spent 6 days with Zuberi and Erick touring various national parks and other experiences. His behavior has been very professional and fun. They know the routes perfectly well and are constantly looking for ways to make the most of it. It's been an amazing experience.

Great experience in Tanzania

We did a 6-day safari in Tanzania with Safari Africa United and it was great. They met us at the airport and accompanied us for 6 days. We felt very well looked after and protected. They knew the terrain very well and we saw a lot of animals. We had a driver and a guide and at all times we could choose different plans or routes, adapting 100% to our needs. I recommend you to choose this company. Thank you for this amazing holiday.

Memorable safari experience

As a group of nine people from three different generations, we embarked on an extraordinary African safari adventure arranged by Safari Africa United and guided by the exceptional duo, Elias and Laurian. This incredible journey brought us closer together, forging unforgettable memories and bonding experiences that transcendent age barriers. The seamless blend of excellent driving, attentiveness, flexibility, humor, and knowledge provided by our guides made the safari enjoyable for every member of our diverse group. Witnessing the Big Five and a plethora of other animals in their natural habitat was a truly awe-inspiring experience that united us in wonder and appreciation for the wonders of nature. As we savored the lovely food and felt the warm hospitality, we found ourselves immersed in an authentic African safari, creating lasting connections and a shared appreciation for the beauty of the wilderness. This trip proved to be a testament to the power of travel, bringing together three generations under one incredible adventure that will be cherished for a lifetime. We highly recommend Safari Africa United and our fantastic drivers/guides Elias and Laurian to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Africa. Asante sana Niklas, Anna, Magnus, Martin and Clara

6 Day Private Camping Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does 6 Day Private Camping Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6 Day Private Camping Safari take?

+

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 6 Day Private Camping Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 6 Day Private Camping Safari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 6 Day Private Camping Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 6 Day Private Camping Safari?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 6 Day Private Camping Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

+

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Kilimanjaro climb by Lemosho Route (7-day), Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
