Personal attention and support
We had a personal guide for each section of the tour. Edwin our guide in Cusco and Machu Picchu was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and very personable. He was attentive to our needs. The other guides in Lima and to Rainbow Mountain were also very pleasant. Everything ran smoothly. Edwin transferred the tickets and all of the relevant information to make this trip a memorable and pleasant experience. The private drivers were also very experienced and made us feel safe in heavy traffic and winding roads.

The most amazing experience!
We had the most wonderful trip! Our tour guide and driver were amazing. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, I never thought I could learn so much on a vacation. She was friendly and personable and we enjoyed chatting with her throughout the trip. The hotels were great, extremely clean, and everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Only recommendations I would make would be to streamline the schedule a bit and moving hotels three nights in a row was tough. But now we know what to request whenever we make it back to visit. We look forward to making the trek again in the future!

Unforgettable Experience in Cusco – Ask for Eddy Ninan!
Our trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu was absolutely unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing team behind the experience. Everything was perfectly organized – from the stunning Sacred Valley to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu – with every detail taken care of so we could simply enjoy and immerse ourselves in the beauty and history of Peru. The true star of our journey was our incredible guide, Eddy Ninan. If you’re coming to Cusco, make sure you ask for Eddy – he’s hands down the best. His passion for his culture, his depth of knowledge, and the way he brings history to life are unmatched. He made every moment special – informative, emotional, and fun. He treated us like family and made sure we were always comfortable, safe, and engaged. We also had the pleasure of being guided by Johan, who was excellent – super knowledgeable, warm, and always willing to answer questions with a smile. And Lizette, who worked behind the scenes, ensured everything ran smoothly with grace and care – we felt her support every step of the way. A special shoutout to our driver Guido, who added so much to the experience with his calm presence, great vibe, and expert driving. He kept us safe on the winding roads while creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere – music, smiles, and great conversations included. Every single place we visited was beautiful, but it was the people – especially Eddy – who turned this into one of the most meaningful and memorable trips of our lives. Five stars are not enough – highly, highly recommended!

Why this scores 77
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu cost?
+
Prices start at $999 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 103 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu?
+
Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Day Cultural Tour to Machu Picchu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
