Take this tour if you really want to see Iceland
Wonderful tour! We felt like we really got to experience the uniqueness of this remarkable country. We had a congenial tour group from Australia, China, Poland, Great Britain, Canada and around the U.S., and our Icelandic tour guide Adolf was both amusing and extremely knowledgeable about Icelandic culture, history and mythology. My friend and I both recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a very personal, friendly way to experience the many treasures that Iceland has to offer.
Response from the operator: Hi there, thanks for this. Really experiencing Iceland rather than just seeing it is the difference the six-day format and the right guide make together. Glad you enjoyed your trip! Arctic Adventures Team

6 days of inspiration
The best vacation Ive had! We could enjoy every moment because everything had been planned and accounted for. Karl was an amazing personable and informative guide. The people on our trip were open to connecting. Its hard to choose my favorite part because every day had so many fun experiences.
Response from the operator: Hi Shelby, best vacation ever is a big title. When everything's planned so well that you can just be present and enjoy it, that's the whole point of going guided. Thank you for your kind feedback! Arctic Adventures Team

Nice tour but...
All in all a wonderful experience, but some significant hiccups. Pros: Awesome sights! The guide was great. Nice selection of sites to visit. Hotels were mostly good. Cons: My seat on the bus was very uncomfortable as I have long legs and it was the smallest seat in the front row! They should leave this seat empty or reserve it for a smaller person or child. The Wilderness Hotel was in poor condition. My door rattled every time someone opened theirs. At a few sites we didn't have enough time (esp Hverir). The drop off process was very confusing - I couldn't tell exactly what I was supposed to do. It ended up ok but was stressful. They should provide an exact itinerary, I often had no idea what was next. For example there was a spa experience but for some reason I didn't hear about it until the last minute.
Response from the operator: Hi David, thanks for the detail. A wonderful experience with some hiccups is honest feedback we can work with. The seating, hotel condition, time at stops, and itinerary communication have all been passed to the relevant team. Glad the guide and the sights earned their praise. Arctic Adventures Team

Iceland
Our tour guide was Hjalti and he could not have provided a better Iceland tour experience. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing, the history of Iceland, places we should eat, and he even managed to fit in a few places that were not on our itinerary, such as visiting an Icelandic horse farm. This was my very first trip abroad and he made it a vacation I will never forget. I also highly recommend Arctic Adventures. The pick ups and drop offs were always right on time, they scheduled so many activities every day that you don’t feel like you missed out on anything (even though you saw the entire country in six days), and we always had the best accommodations at the end of each day.
Response from the operator: Hi there, your very first trip abroad and calling it one you'll never forget is a high bar for everywhere else you'll visit after this. Iceland set the standard. Glad it started here. Arctic Adventures Team

6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik cost?
+
Prices start at $1630 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.
Is 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 750 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik?
+
Around 263 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Day Around Iceland Small-Group Tour from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
