Book itttt!
Luke was definitely the saving grace of a hectic trip that was booked through another company, very grateful to have him as our guide and driver. He was very organized and calm and made sure we got to see as much as possible. He was super great at switching different activities/locations to fit the weather and adapt to people’s ability and interests. Had a slew of gorgeous locations and good restaurants that you wouldn’t be able to find without a local guide. Extremely knowledgeable on locations and history, definitely worth booking especially for photography.

Summer Iceland adventure
Luke was seriously the best guide we could have asked for! He was knowledgeable, funny, easygoing, and somehow always knew where we should go next. One of our favorite things was when Luke would take us somewhere totally off the beaten path—especially when we’d realize we were the only people there. Every time, we’d yell “SECRET SPOT!” (the name of his tour company) and it became a running joke throughout the trip. 😂 Those hidden spots ended up being some of our favorite memories. He also went above and beyond to make our friend’s 40th birthday trip extra special and created so many experiences we never would have found on our own. We had an amazing week and honestly can’t imagine having done Iceland with anyone else! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredible Iceland Trip with Luke
We just got back from Iceland, and I can't say enough good things about our experience with Luke. From day one, he felt more like a friend traveling with us than a guide. Luke is kind, funny, easy to be around, and genuinely cares about making sure you have an amazing experience. He went out of his way to create opportunities and memories that never would have happened if we had been traveling on our own. Some of our favorite moments were the places he took us that weren't packed with tourists (secret hikes and waterfalls) —just incredible scenery and experiences that felt authentic and special. This trip was a birthday celebration for me, and Luke made it one I'll never forget (champagne celebration at the Diamond Beach!). He thought of details we never would have considered, kept everything stress-free, and somehow always seemed to know the perfect place to stop or the perfect thing to do next. Iceland is an amazing country, but Luke is what made this trip truly special. Five stars all around.

wonderful experience with Luke
Extremely knowledgeable, took care of all the driving and logistics, and flexibility that only a private guide can provide. I experienced so much more in Iceland with Luke than I would have alone.

Amazing multigenerational Iceland experience
We recently completed a trip to Iceland from Reykjavik to the south coast with Luke as our guide throughout. We had a range of ages in our group from tween to 80+ and Luke did a fantastic job of accommodating capabilities and interests throughout. He had us well equipped with the secret spots he is known for along with the must see big destinations. Luke also carried a solid knowledge of food choices from the must have Icelandic hot dog to restaurants in the cities to small farmhouse spots along the way. Luke is a great find and we look forward to seeing him again on a return trip!

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience cost?
+
Prices start at $14000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.
Is 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-day Private Iceland Tour - Complete Iceland Experience start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
