    An interesting and informative day

Our group enjoyed a very interesting day led by our guide Erik on June 30, 2025. His knowledge of the history and current events for sites at Upplands, Riminskriften, Jarlabankes, Ariel’s Tingstad, Vallentuna, Sigtuna, Uppsala and at other stops was as if we had a walking encyclopedia to consult all day. He provided very detailed explanations of Viking and Swedish history at each stop. He also shared valuable information for taking photographs. He allowed good timeframes to savour the environment at each stop. Thank you Erik!

Response from the operator: Happy to hear you got such a good day out and thanks for taking your time to write this. I have sent this onwards to Erik who send thanks for your kind words. Happy to hear you got a relaxed tour day among beautiful Viking sites and cities.

    Absolutely incredible tour!

I went on this trip solo and would highly recommend this to everyone, you get taken in mini bus to surrounding areas of Stockholm and can see some amazing sights. Emma (tour guide) was extremely kind and knowledgeable and definitely made the tour memorable. Definitely learnt a lot more about vikings.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Stockholm?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
