If I could give CrazyBoat Cinque Terre and Captain Tony 100 stars, I would!

We spent two weeks traveling through the Mediterranean, and our full-day private tour with Captain Tony was, without question, our favorite experience of the entire vacation. Before our tour, I explained that we were traveling with our neurodivergent son, and Tony could not have been more understanding or accommodating. He tailored every aspect of the six-hour tour to our family’s needs (including the pacing, activities, and level of stimulation) while somehow making it all feel completely effortless and fun. What followed was one of those rare travel days that becomes a lifelong family memory. We spent an incredible day on and in the beautiful waters of Cinque Terre, exploring villages along the way. Our son adored Tony and still talks about what an amazing day he had. As a parent, there is something incredibly special about watching your child feel completely comfortable and joyful while experiencing something new. Tony gave our family that gift. Captain Tony, thank you for the flexibility, humor, and kindness you showed our family. CrazyBoat Cinque Terre was not simply a wonderful excursion—it was the best travel experience we’ve ever had. Five stars, given with enormous enthusiasm and heartfelt gratitude. We could not recommend Tony and CrazyBoat Cinque Terre more highly.

5 STARS!!!

5 stars!! Tony was a wonderful and fun captain!! We had such a great time. I would recommend this company to anyone visiting this area. We came from the United States and Tony made us feel so welcomed! He felt like an old friend by the time our tour ended. If you're looking for a solid deal, beautiful boat and a great host, this is the tour you need to book. Thanks again Tony!! You're tour was one of the biggest highlights of our trip!!!!

5 Star Experience

Had the best day touring the cinque terre with Tony. Could not recommend this tour enough. The tour gave us plenty of swimming sessions which was great especially in the hot weather. If you’re not a strong swimmer, Tony provides noodles for you to use and also snorkels which is a lovely touch. We even got to steer the boat which was fab. Thanks again Tony for such an amazing day!

Sunset Tour with drinks and snacks for family and friends or groups up to 12.

Tony our skipper was very good at his job. Suggested places to see, took us close and slightly into some caves. Stopped for us to take a sunset dip in the cool waters as it was cloudy with a chance of rain. Would have loved a beautiful sunset but you can’t control weather. Highly recommend this tour.

5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for La Spezia.

How much does 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops cost?

+

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in La Spezia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops take?

+

Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in La Spezia is not rushed.

Is 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in La Spezia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops?

+

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in La Spezia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in La Spezia and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central La Spezia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in La Spezia?

+

On Outty we rank every La Spezia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include La Spezia: Taste Cinque Terre on a Food Tour by Do Eat Better, Portovenere & Three Islands Small Group Boat Tour from La Spezia, Sunset Kayak Adventure & Caves Tour, Swimming & Aperitif. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit La Spezia?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in La Spezia?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
