We had booked a tour that...

We had booked a tour that was to be no more than 12 people. It turned out that my husband and I were the only two on the tour. Our tour guide Silvio was excellent. Very informative and interesting and gave lots of good suggestions to make our day fun. Highly recommend him as a tour guide

Awesome day excursion

Great visit to Aix! A lovely town and our tour guide was knowledgeable and made our experience memorable. We were able to take in all the history, atmosphere and enjoyed a delicious lunch with time to spare. Would definitely recommend!

A tour company you should seriously consider...

Although I didn't get an opportunity to book a tour through Silvo Laveder, I have to take the time to mention his outstanding customer service. He did his best to assist 4 indecisive (senior) ladies during his peak season - even offering a more convenient pickup location if we arrived by train (into St. Charles Marseille). I'm confident we're missing out by not booking with this tour operator ...maybe (someday) when we return. Best wishes Silvo, you're a lovely, considerate & helpful man.

How far in advance should I book 5 hours Shore excursion Aix En Provence and the Countryside?

+

+

On Outty we rank every Marseille experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marseille Food Tour – Full Meal of Local Tastes by Do Eat Better, Beyond Bouillabaisse: Diving into Marseille’s Multicultural Stew, Marseille Guided Tour for 4 Hours with a Bilingual Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marseille?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marseille?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
