Unforgettable 5 day Uganda adventure with East African Jungle Safaris.

Our 5-day journey in Uganda with friends was an incredible experience that we will remember forever. We choose East African Jungle Safaris for our 5 days journey and they were wonderfully organized our trip made a unforgettable experience. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was breathtaking, and trekking through its dense vegetation made the experience feel like a real expedition. Our guide was very skilled and his knowledge made our journey easy & very enjoyable. The moment we encountered mountain gorillas was unforgettable and easily one of the biggest highlights of our trip. We then explored Queen Elizabeth National Park, where the landscapes opened up and offered a different perspective on Uganda's wildlife. 5 days gave us a wonderful introduction to Uganda's wildlife and natural beauty. We definitely recommend East African Jungle Safaris for giving us a beautiful experience.

We will always remember our 5 days experience.

Our 5 day safari experience in Uganda with East African Jungle Safari was perfectly planned and wonderful experiences. Every day of this journey brought something new and unforgettable. Bwindi was peaceful and mysterious, and the gorilla trek was the highlight. It was hard work, but that's what made the experience so special. Queen Elizabeth National Park added a different kind of excitement. It was vast terrain and a variety of animals made each safari drive unique. We especially enjoyed seeing the elephants and the leisurely pace of the lions. The boat safari was another highlight, offering a peaceful yet lively experience surrounded by hippos and birds. Thank you East African Jungle Safaris for giving us a peaceful journey and fantastic experience.

    Amazing experience

My partner and I traveled to Uganda primarily to see the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, but we also fell in love with many other incredible places! We did the 5-day safari, and it was an amazing experience. The people are incredibly kind, and the beauty of nature is beyond description. Last but not least, we want to thank our guide, Issa, for his kindness and deep knowledge of his country. It was a pleasure to meet him, and we will never forget this experience. A big thank you also to Ruth, who was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire booking process

    Uganda with EAJS - spectacular!

Wow, what an experience! I hired East African Jungle Safaris to put together a trip to see the gorillas, as well as several other highlights in Uganda, and they did an incredible job. They took 4 of us on a multi day adventure from Kigali, Rwanda to Entebbe, Uganda, seeing gorillas, chimpanzees, Shoebill storks, and more, plus lots of great experiences. Ruth was our co-ordinator and was very easy to communicate with; she set up a great itinerary. Ronnie was our driver, and he was the best! Great driver, kind, and calm, he took such good care of us everywhere that we miss him. I also must mention that Uganda is a stunning country - beautiful, safe, friendly. I am so happy we did this trip, and allowed EAJS to be our guides.

5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.

How much does 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,441 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari take?

    +

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.

Is 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kampala?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kampala?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kampala?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari?

    +

Included: Hotel pickup and drop-off; Professional guide; Bottled water; National Park fees; and Dinner. Not included: Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase). Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 24 listed pickup locations in and around Kampala. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari?

    +

    +

The operator notes: Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to 5 Days Bwindi gorilla trekking and Queen Elizabeth safari if the weather is bad?
