Adventure in Peru

We were impressed with our experience in Peru. We stayed in Cusco and visited Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Maras Moray and other places. Our transfers and guides were always on time and very organized. I would recommend this tour but upgrade your accommodations. All hotels were very clean but small and very basic. The train ride to Aguas Calientes was breathtaking. Thank you Kantu Peru Tours

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re glad you enjoyed your experience and our organization throughout the trip. We also appreciate your feedback about the accommodations—it helps us keep improving. We hope to welcome you again in Peru!

Excellent tour service and support

We had excellent service from David of Kantu Tours. All tours, transfers, tickets and hotels were arranged by him. He provided us with all tickets and a printed itinerary. He was in contact with us on a daily basis with WhatsApp. If we come to the Cusco area again we will use Kantu Tours. Highly recommended service. Thank you David.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind review! We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed the organization and communication throughout your trip. It was a pleasure assisting you. Warm regards from David and the Kantu Peru Tours team!

Great guides, great price

We are definitely coming back to Cusco to explore more. We stayed 5 nights and were taken care of from the airport to the airport, we visited many ancient Incan and Preincan sites with knowledgeable tour guides who explained well in both Spanish and English according to our needs. They were knowledgeable and approachable. For the cost of this trip and the breadth of experiences and the ease I am very pleased with this purchase. The tour buses are quite large and could accommodate up to 13 people if you had a group that large.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re very happy to hear you enjoyed your time in Cusco and that our team helped make your trip comfortable and memorable. We look forward to welcoming you back to explore even more of Peru!

Memorable, enriching…and fun!

This was a very well organized, professional 5-day tour from the first contact on the Web to the last handshake at the airport. The archeological site visits were made that much more meaningful thanks to the in-depth knowledge of Inca history of our guide Cristian. It was also easy to establish a good rapport with him, which is important given the time spent together. We felt very safe on the road with our driver, Mr. Wilson, and the vehicles were clean and well maintained. Since we visited at the end of November, there were not too many tourists, and we were lucky with the weather at Machu Picchu. I would highly recommend Kantu Tours, and felt that the private format was well worth the price as the focus is exclusively on your own needs and preferences and the attention is highly personalized.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind words and for trusting us!. We’re delighted to know everything was well organized from start to finish, it was a pleasure assisting you, and we hope to welcome you again in the future!

Incredible Experience with Kantu Tours – Ask for Cristian & Raul!

Our private tour in Cusco with Kantu Tours was beyond amazing. Cristian, our guide, was more than just knowledgeable about Andean culture and Peruvian history — he quickly became our friend. Every site felt like paradise, from Machu Picchu to the breathtaking hikes at Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake. The included meals were delicious, with excellent vegan and vegetarian options. What makes Kantu Tours stand out is how much they care. When my son lost his phone, Cristian became our hero — spending two days and even a full day in Machu Picchu to recover it. Thanks to him, we salvaged priceless memories. Our driver, Raul, was equally wonderful: professional, kind, and made every journey safe and comfortable. Kantu Tours impressed us so much that we are now working with them directly because they truly are the best. I highly recommend booking all your experiences with them — you can even contact me personally for a referral.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review. We are truly happy to know you had an amazing experience in Cusco and that Cristian and Raul made your trip special. Cristian’s effort to recover your son’s phone reflects how much we care about our travelers, and we’re glad it meant so much to you. We truly appreciate your trust and your recommendation. It was an honor to be part of your journey, and we hope to welcome you back to Peru soon

5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu cost?

+

Prices start at $846 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5-Day Private Tour to Cusco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
