Great time!

Torva was an excellent tour guide. It would have been difficultly navigating the windy highland roads on our own. Accommodations weren’t luxurious but always full of character and had what we needed. The activities were enjoyable and full of historical information. I’d definitely recommend this tour to someone who wants to see the Highlands!

5 days in the Highlands

I liked the tour a lot. Five stars guide- David Miller - nice group and beautiful locations. Regarding the B& B I think you should revise the choosen accomodations. I didn’ t like the one in Oban and the secomdmin Portee, regarding comfort and location. In my opinion the client would have the possibility to choose between two places, being one in the center town and comfortable and the other more distant. The prices will reflect that.

A glorious roundup of a tour, starring Torva

The tour does what it does *excellently*. It offers a broad panorama of gorgeous Scotland with folktales, a bit of history, and references for Harry Potter and Outlander fans, along with a series of locational snacks supported by all that fine narrative. What I want to convey more than anything else is how brilliant our driver-guide Torva has been. His good nature, flexibility, and kindness gave a sense of security and good cheer that allowed us to form community. His mad cornucopia of presentation talents made the trip very amusing and informative. The centaur-like grace with which Torva drove and told stories simultaneously dazzled us. And his stamina is a wonder of the world. Haggis Tours should cherish Torva and lavish him with raises and bonuses. (But please tell him that Scottish fairies don’t have wings.)

5 Days of 100s of Years of Knowledge

We would not have been able to drive all of the locations on our own in the same amount of time. The information provided by Torva was also useful at every stop, as well as informational about the places we stopped. His sense of humour also kept it entertaining. The bus playlist was also spot on!

5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Edinburgh.

How much does 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh cost?

+

Prices start at $615 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Edinburgh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Edinburgh is not rushed.

Is 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 925 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Edinburgh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 120-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh?

+

Around 324 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Edinburgh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Edinburgh and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Day Isle of Skye, Loch Ness & Inverness From Edinburgh start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Edinburgh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Edinburgh?

+

On Outty we rank every Edinburgh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Edinburgh: Loch Ness, Glencoe and The Highlands, Edinburgh: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe & Fort William, Edinburgh Ghost Tour: Mysteries, Legends and Murders. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Edinburgh?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Edinburgh?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
