DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR!!!
THIS TOUR DOES NOT GO TO CHIKEN HA AS PROMISED - false advertising. All day they were just trying to get additional money out of us any way they could. -we were rushed during Coba and Tulum ruins -after lunch we were pressured into participating in the sharmen ritual which wasn’t translated to us. We would have been happy to stand back and observe. Shortly after the sharmen led us to the shop were we were pressured into buying items -as mentioned instead of being taken to Chiken ha we went to a small cenote named cueva cenote muul. We were told that the life jackets were mandatory but that we had to rent them for an additional cost. Not happy.

Do not choose this tour!!!!
I chose this tour specifically for a visit to Chikin-Ha cenote, but we were taken to Muul ichi Ts’ono’ot cenote instead. The driver confirmed they don't visit Chikin-Ha, contrary to what TripAdvisor advertised. We wasted an entire day due to this misinformation and expected a refund for faulty advertising but were denied. Many other problems on the day but limited word count! Do yourself a favour and choose another tour!!!!

Avoid this tour by this travel agency horrible Viator should be ashamed of this your
We were taken on a bus to shell ha instead of going directly to the tour we booked We were delayed almost 2.5 hours and had to get up early for nothing They basically wasted almost 3 hours of our vacation by cramming us on a bus not even going to where we had booked When we finally got on the tour we had booked we were exhausted. The driver almost had two accidents rushing from place to place and they let kids do the tour who were more interested in talking among themselves than the guests. We could have had more time at the tours we and booked but this was a terrible tour. When finally getting back at almost midnight That would be 7 am to 12 midnight The driver missed the turn in and I had to walk all the way up a hill to my hotel Tour was a disaster

BAD TIME MANAGEMENT
so when booking this Tour...NOWHERE does it say that you will be picked up at 7am, bused over to a DIFFERENT resort, WAIT! and then bused over to the correct bus! WASTER 3 HRS on bus ride, WAITING and then finally get to the first site to see. BAD TIME MANAGEMENT! AGAIN....WASTED 3 HRS that could have been used to visit the sites, after everything was done...this tour ended for me at 11:45pm! NOWHERE does it say that this will take so long! and you also need to put in BIG PRINT!!! that there is a " charge " at the end of the Tour, LOTS of people on the bus were VERY upset as I was about having to pay extra? Make a BIGGER note of this so people KNOW!!! this will happen at the end of the Tour! TERRIBLE! WILL NEVER use you guys again........I WOULD like someone to contact me and we NEED to talk about a refund or a 50% refund!

Birthday gift
I bought this tour for my sister's birthday. I checked and double-checked again to make sure that she could be picked up in Tulum and still go to playa del carmen and be dropped back off in tulum. Well, that did not happen and after several phone calls to Mexico we finally got her dropped off back in Tulum but she missed the playa del carmen part. I was then told I would receive a 50% refund which has not happened and I keep getting blown off. This was a tour on July 8th. I was told to contact Expedia and they also stated that the company needs to issue the refund. The only good part about this tour is she enjoyed the part she actually received.

Why this scores 43
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 43 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4X1 VIP Tulum, Coba, Cenote and Playa del Carmen Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
