Friendly Personal Experience

I enjoyed the trip. The guides were excellent and very involved with the guest. The one minor issue was this was a 4 Stop trip and we didn’t get to go to 7 mile beach where I personally was looking forward to so I could get some personal pictures for myself and my birthday.

Response from the operator: thanks for supporting us and leaving a kind review even though timing was not on our side for the beach. hope you received the refund of the beach portion. -- Doing 4 stop coming on a cruise ship will always be down to timing. beach portion will be refunded if missed--

Superb 4 stop experience with an amazing company

There's a reason we're a repeat customer. This is our second time doing this excursion with Rowan waters and they were beyond amazing. We did 4 stops, the first being a star fish stop, were we were instructed on how to handle them. we then went to stingray city, where we held the sting rays and fed them and took plenty of pictures with them. Our third stop was a snorkeling stop, which was truly amazing, so many fish and a few stingrays. Our final stop was at the amazing 7 mile beach, there we spent an hour before they took us back to our ship. The staff are really great people and make sure everyone is involved. They also provided us with water, sodas and snorkeling gear. I highly recommend this company

Response from the operator: Thank you for supporting a family company, we are pleased that you are repeating customer. happy to know you enjoyed yourselves. hope to meet on board, ask for commodore!

7 Mile Beach is not a stop on this tour

We had a great day exploring Grand Cayman. The photos that we were purchased were amazing, too. The water was rough but we still felt safe and we all enjoyed it. The only thing I that I want to say is that even though this tour states there are 4 stops we only stopped at 3 stops. We did not go to 7 mile beach (starfish, snorkeling, and Stingray City). If that is a dealbreaker for you don’t book this tour. I’m sad we didn’t get to explore the beach. Overall it was a great day!

Response from the operator: So glad you had a great day exploring and that the photos turned out amazing! It is awesome to hear that even with some rough water you felt safe and enjoyed the experience. We really appreciate the feedback about the Seven Mile Beach stop and the total count. We always aim for a perfect day on the water and hope to see you back soon!

See the fish and stingrays up close

This was a well organized tour bus driver was waiting. It’s cruise ship arrival point she took us to the boat where we met a crew of three.. the boat was clean and ready to go when we arrived. There was about 36 of us on a boat that probably seats more than We took a 15 or 20 minute ride to a reef to snorkel. The water was only eight or 9 feet deep fish were everywhere. saw a number of stingrays. We spent about 40 minutes at that stop. And then we went to the sandbar called stingray city where you could feed the stingrays and them for good luck. Final stop was the starfish beach. They were not too many starfish, but we did get to see starfish and some jellyfish on our return. Our bus had a mechanical problem. Our driver pulled over safely and called for another bus and within minutes, we were on second bus that returned us to our drop off point. They had a lot of drinks and bottled water on board. I would recommend this trip.

Response from the operator: Cheers! It is awesome to hear everything stayed so well-organized from start to finish. We are glad the snorkeling was such a hit and that our driver handled that bus swap so quickly and safely. It sounds like you got to see a ton of cool wildlife, from the fish to the jellyfish! Thanks for the recommendation and for highlighting the clean boat and cold drinks. Hope to have you back on the water again soon!

Small group Stingray City tour

We were picked at our hotel. Great crew, very friendly and helpful. We spent a significant time with the sting rays feeding them and holding one of them. Starfish beach was also fun. Overall, a well organized, safe, and fun excursion. Chose this one because it was independently owned and operated with about 20 guests instead of large group. Going on a Saturday avoided the cruise ship crowd at Stingray City. I Highly recommend Rowan Watersports if you want a more personalized excursion.

4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Grand Cayman.

How much does 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned) cost?

+

Prices start at $63 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Grand Cayman usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned) take?

+

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Grand Cayman is not rushed.

Is 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 315 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Grand Cayman, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned)?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned)?

+

Around 110 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Grand Cayman can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Grand Cayman and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4-Stop Stingray, Snorkel, Star Fish & 7 Mile Beach (Family Owned) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Grand Cayman within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Grand Cayman?

+

On Outty we rank every Grand Cayman experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group E-Bike Grand Cayman Ecological Half-Day Tour, Stingray City Experience Plus Two Snorkeling Stops on Grand Cayman, Stingray City Sandbar, Coral Gardens Snorkeling & Star Fish Point. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Grand Cayman?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Grand Cayman?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
