One of the best tours of our entire trip

This has to be the best tour we did during our 2 weeks in Andalusia! First off - wear your most comfortable walking shoes. Second- bring a fully charged camera/phone. As this is a private tour, our guide was very accommodating in the pace we walked. He was so knowledgeable about the history and the culture of Granada and the different neighborhoods, so much that I was unaware of. We climbed up to amazing viewpoints of the city from many different perspectives. We were lucky enough to stop during the tour for a break with tea and baklavas. He gave of wonderful suggestions of places to come back to, places to eat and how to get back to them, and best times to go to different places. You do walk a lot - we clicked around 5 miles. Definitely worth it and I would recommend as a great introduction to Granada!

Response from the operator: Dear Debbie, Thank you for sharing this fantastic review! We are incredibly proud to hear that our tour was the best of your two-week trip through Andalusia. That is the highest compliment. We truly appreciate your recommendations: good footwear and a camera are essential for exploring Granada. We will pass on your kind words to the guide; he will be thrilled to know that his knowledge and recommendations made this such a memorable experience. We are glad you enjoyed the tea and baklavas! Our goal is to be the perfect introduction to this city, and your recommendation is the best compliment we could receive. We hope to see you again soon. Best regards

    Outstanding Tour!

Mikael gave us a very comprehensive personalized tour of four significant neighborhoods in Granada. The tour was thoughtfully designed to provide historical and contemporary perspectives while avoiding crowds during high season. We learned a lot, and the time flew by. We got great photos with a good understanding of what we were seeing. Mikael went the extra mile by recommending a flamenco performance and making the reservation for us, then concluding the tour at the meeting point for the flamenco. He gauged the tour for our stamina (parts of Granada are hilly) and provided rest and a snack. Altogether a great afternoon!

Response from the operator: HI Tom! Thank you so much for your wonderful review!. We are delighted to hear that you had a great time with us discovering places without crowds during these high season times. You ended the tour in the best possible way: with a great flamenco show!. We hope to see you again soon! Best regards

Perfect way to get to know Grenada

This tour was so informative. We came to Grenada not knowing much about the history of the people. After this tour we understood the history of the city. The guide was knowledgeable, entertaining, & upbeat. He took us to areas of the city we would have never found ourself.

Response from the operator: Hi Bridget, Thank you very much for your review. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour and that you discovered new places while learning about the history of this wonderful city. Best regards

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
