    About this experience

My name is Mia and together with my husband Gianni we love showing our lake to our guests. The tour allows you to admire the beautiful coasts of Lake Como, the historic villas that overlook it as well as the wonderful views, in the hidden corners, which can only be seen from the lake. With our four-hour tour, you will arrive in Bellagio (La Perla del Lago) to observe it from the boat or go ashore to stroll through its characteristic alleys. We will then continue to Varenna, another jewel on the lake and then cross the lake until we reach Lenno and Isola Comacina, an ideal place to sip an aperitif or go for a swim thanks to the always calm water that surrounds the island. We will then sail towards Como along the western shore. We will offer you an excellent bottle of prosecco, some snacks and the soft drinks you desire. You don't have to worry about bringing bath towels because you will find them available on the boat. We are waiting for you!

    Como 4 hour Private Tour

Absolutely first class cruise around Lake Como. Very clear and good communication leading up to the cruise. Terrific cruise with a very flexible approach to sites we wanted to visit. Mia, the guide, had an excellent knowledge of the sites. Johnny, captain, very friendly and helpful. We could not recommend this cruise highly enough.

    Wonderful tour and experience!

Our tour guides Mia and Gianni were wonderful! They were very considerate of what we wanted to see and do. We had four people in our group, and there was plenty of room on the boat. The snacks and drinks were great. I highly recommend this tour!

    Amazing Boat Adventure

This was awesome to the nth degree!! Mia and Gianni were incredible guides, sharing all kinds of stories, facts and insights. We had a lot of snacks and it was so awesome when we stopped to take a tour of one town and get a view of the village. They treated us to drinks and treats, and then we got back on board. Our son was able to drive—which he will remember for the rest of his life. This was the piece de resistance of our trip, and it’s worth every penny. We did 4 hours and splurged, and it was incredible!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We had a lot of fun too..you guys are a really fantastic family😘 hope to see you again (sooner or later)

4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.

How much does 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain cost?

    +

Prices start at $1360 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.

Is 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Hours Private Boat Tour in Lake Como with Captain start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Como?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Como?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Como?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
