Great Job Guide Greta !
We have visited Murano previously but without a guide. What a difference our guide Greta made. We learned many details that were new to us. Greta was very flexible and allowed us additional time on Murano without feeling in any way rushed. On Burano we also had a chance to see some things that we had missed on earlier visits. This is the way to visit Murano and Burano.
Response from the operator: Dear Harry, thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering Murano and Burano with our guide Greta — she truly loves sharing the hidden stories and local traditions of the islands. It’s wonderful to know the experience felt relaxed and enriching for you. We hope to welcome you again for another tour in the Venetian Lagoon! Warm regards, Mattia Venice Hospitality Team

Nice 1/2 day private trip
The boat captain and our guide were great. We enjoyed the boat ride over and learning about the area. The glass blowing in Murano was very interesting however your need to be wealthy to purchase anything other than cups or a plate as souvenirs. The glass blowers are very talented and their work very beautiful. The lace demonstration was short and ok.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the boat ride and appreciated learning about the lagoon with our captain and guide. We agree that Murano’s glass masters are truly talented – their creations are works of art, and we’re happy you had the chance to see them in action. We also appreciate your comment about the lace demonstration in Burano; we’ll share this feedback with our partners so we can continue improving the experience. We hope to welcome you again in the future for another tour and show you even more hidden gems of the Venetian lagoon! Warm regards, Mattia Venice Hospitality

Best way to visit Murano and Burano!
We had the best day with Mattia! The weather was windy and a bit rainy but that didn’t spoil the day on the boat. Before our trip I messaged Venice Hospitality and they were very prompt with responding. We worried the weather would make the trip uncomfortable but the boat and tour was perfect! I can’t say enough about Mattia and his guide, they were so nice and professional, it was the highlight of our family Venice trip.
Response from the operator: Dear Debra, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure having you on board, and we’re so glad to hear that even with a bit of wind and rain, you still had an amazing time. At Venice Hospitality, we do our best to make every tour special—no matter the weather—and knowing it was the highlight of your family trip to Venice means the world to us. A big thank you from Mattia and our guide—we hope to welcome you back to the lagoon soon! Venice Hospitality team

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat cost?
+
Prices start at $980 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-hour private tour: Murano and Burano by private boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
