Fanstastic phot tour with Marco
Peter and I thoroughly enjoyed our early morning private photo tour with Marco. We learnt a lot and saw some wonderful places. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great Photo Tour of Venice
Marco not only helped us take great photos, but he showed us Venice from the local view point. Highly recommend this tour whether you are an experienced or novice photographer. You will take better pictures and learn how to use your camera like never before.

Wonderful experience
We actually scheduled a 3-hour walk for the early morning for two of us and 2 hours in the evening with our spouses. Simone was terrific at both. In the morning, he planned an approach that moved us from place to place to take advantage of the early morning light from before sunrise until after. When the sun got higher we went to places where exposure to the sun was not an issue. Throughout, he taught us techniques of settings and composition to make the best of each situation. Along the way, he imparted tremendous knowledge about Venice, the history and the present. We learned more about the city from him than from any other guides in Venice that week. And, we ended up with great photos with which to remember Venice and our photo walks. The evening walk was through quieter neighborhoods and ended with a great venue to capture the end-of-day light on the Grand Canal. One of Simone's approaches was to have us look on our photography as telling a story which was really helpful, not just in taking the photos but in using them later. I would highly recommend Simone for a photo walk of Venice.

Amazing photo tour!
When our original photo tour guide became ill, Simone stepped in to take our tour. What an excellent guide he was, too! His passion for Venice and its craftsmen is engaging, and he is a kind and patient teacher. We went off the beaten path for some excellent shots and gave us pointers along the way. My husband had a new camera, and Simone made sure he understood what all the buttons and settings meant. This was the best tour of our entire two week vacation! Thank you, Simone!

Great day with Simone
Simone is a great guide, great teacher and just a very nice fellow. Simone took us through both typical photo opportunities as well as less iconic but no less beautiful areas of Venice. He has extensive knowledge of the local culture and was able to help us capture the story and visual beauty of Venice with his help with our basic photography skills. Our 13 year old girls also learned a lot about photography from Simone and said he was one of the best aspects of our visit to Venice. Highly recommended.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.
How much does 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise cost?
+
Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.
Is 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Hours Venice Private Photo Sunrise start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Venice?
+
On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Venice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Venice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
