Great private tour to Hamlet’s castle
This tour with guide Bruno was a nice 3-4 hour venture. We had nice conversation about what it is like living in Denmark on the train to the castle in Ilsinore. He showed us around the town a bit and gave us a nice tour of the castle. I highly recommend this private tour.
Response from the operator: Thanks Antonio. It was so cool to get to know nice human beings like you guys. I wish you all the best and hope you have enjoyed Denmark while here :) Kind regards Copenhagen Walking Tour

Best Castle Tour
We had the best tour with Bruno!! We have done many castle tours and this was by far the best we have done. Bruno went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day.
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot for your feedback. You guys were amazing and one of my favourite too :) Lovely couple and inspiring people. All the best from Copenhagen.

Don't recommend this tour
This excursion started and ended with an uncomfortable train ride. The castle was not very interesting and it was not accessible.
Response from the operator: I really don't understand your comments. I am sorry but you booked a private tour that provides a train ride from Copenhagen to hamlet castle with a private guide who met you at your doorstep. However, It seems like that you did not even read the tour description which is a shame. Furthermore, I am sorry again but I cannot take your feedback in consideration as we did not lie and hide anything from you. Please read what you buy next time1 We wish you a beautiful day and hope you enjoyed Copenhagen anyways.

Tour exceeded expectations
The tour was a amazing and Bruno so knowledgeable, about the castle and Denmark as a whole. We got so much more out to the tour then we expected. If I had to rate this tour I would give it an 11 out of 10, and definitely would recommend Bruno to everyone.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your feedback my friend. It has been an amazing opportunity to meet you guys and show you around. Keep the good spirit and I wish you a good day!

Wonderful 1/2 day tour
Nicolas was a fantastic, informative guide and this was one of the highlights of our trip. He was very clearly very experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful with other recommendations for our stay.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your review. It is really important for us to have your feedback. Nicolas is an amazing person and we are happy that he exceeded your expectations

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Copenhagen.
How much does 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen cost?
+
Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Copenhagen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Copenhagen is not rushed.
Is 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Copenhagen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Copenhagen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Copenhagen and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-Hour Private Hamlet Castle Tour from Copenhagen start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Copenhagen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Copenhagen?
+
On Outty we rank every Copenhagen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen, Copenhagen Walking Tour: Politically Incorrect Intro, Social Sailing - Copenhagen Canal Tour - Captain's Favorite. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Copenhagen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
