    About this experience

I have lived in the DC Metro Area for more than 30 years. Those years were spent as a limo driver, chauffeur, and private tour guide. I have acquired a great amount of knowledge and experience about DC. My tours are noteworthy because they are very informative and interactive. There are no extra fees, complimentary bottled water is always available, and all of the tours are private. In addition to many area hotels, we also offer pickup from Regan National Airport. We have room for luggage. The vehicle is allowed drop-off access near the US Capitol Grounds and other points of interest. I am also very familiar with the restaurant scene in DC, which means I can give great dining suggestions. I aim to make sure every group has a memorable and wonderful experience in the city. if your staying inside washington dc we can come to you for a pick up even your hotel not listed on web sight.

Skip the heat & parking headaches- book Fisseha

Fisseha was a great driver and guide. My family had the pleasure of spending four hours with him on a curated DC monument highlight tour. It was scorching hot so it was so nice to have a clean and comfortable van to retreat to in between monument stops. We didn’t have to worry about parking or navigating, we just sat back and were able to enjoy the DC views. Fisseha was very knowledgeable and gave us fun and informative facts before each stop. I would highly recommend booking with Fisseha, he provides a great tour and you are sure to have a great day with him.

Response from the operator: Thank you for a nice review! glad you enjoyed your time

    Exactly what we'd hoped for

This is a perfect way to see Washinton and if I come again, I will definitely give Fisseha a call. He was early and met us exactly where he said he would. Unlike some tours, he was a safe driver and I didn't worry at all in traffic. He was very explicit with instructions about where he'd drop us off and where we'd meet back up and he didn't rush us at all. He kept us hydrated with a cooler of ice cold water. Washington is so beautiful. The only thing I was disappointed with was the White House. It reminded me of a maximum security prison and the only place with any view at all was full of angry people crowding around the only area without black out screens. Our time ran out before we got to see everything, but he said everyone should see the WWII memorial and we went there too. I can't decide which was my favorite, the WWII or FDR memorial. I love a good water feature. We were dropped off by the Washinton Eye instead of the starting point when we said that we were doing it next. I guess if we had called, we could have made more adjustments to the itinerary than just taking it at our own pace and included a stop at the Smithsonian or Arlington. Regardless, this was an amazing way to see Washington and I would book this again

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, I am so happy you enjoyed the tour and it was nice to meet you all

    Great Tour with Kids

Fisseha took us around and we got to see all of the amazing sites of DC. It was such a fun morning with my husband and kids. He was so knowledgeable and even took us to an extra location that wasn’t planned. Thanks for such a memorable family trip.

    Great Tour with our kids

Fisseha was early to pick us up at our hotel and spent the 4 hours with us showing us all the amazing sites in DC. He even snuck in an extra one just for the kids and they loved it! Thank you for so much knowledge and fun on our family vacation.

    A nice thing about this...

A nice thing about this tour is that it is totally customizable. We had small children who really had no knowledge or interest in some of the monuments, so we chose to spend more time at a select few; and then more time at the Natural History Museum. Our driver was very gracious and flexible, as well as knowledgeable of the DC area.

Response from the operator: Thank you Robert for taking the time to write nice review

4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Baltimore.

How much does 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $550 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Baltimore usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 4.1 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Baltimore is not rushed.

Is 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 85 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Baltimore, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour?

    +

Around 30 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Baltimore can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Baltimore and add a light layer if any part of the 4.1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4- Hour Private customizable Washington DC Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Baltimore within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Baltimore?

    +

Baltimore leans on the Inner Harbor: Fort McHenry visits, harbour cruises, Edgar Allan Poe and ghost walks, crab-focused food tours and a strong museum lineup within walking distance. On Outty we rank every Baltimore experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Baltimore Walking Foodie Tour in Fells Point, Fells Point Food Tour in Baltimore, Glow in the Dark Splatter Paint Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Baltimore?

    +

April to June and September to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Baltimore?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
