Amazing views with an equally amazing tour guide
Stacy was an amazing tour guide. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She made this trip so fun. My kids loved her and she was so thoughtful to include them in all the conversation. I loved hearing about all the things she knew about the area and her background as an educator was evident in her passion for sharing about this amazing area. The two hours at each stop was just enough time and the hot drinks were icing on the cake. It was also so much nicer to just sit back and ride and enjoy the view instead of trying to drive and navigate. It was for sure worth every penny.
Response from the operator: It sounds like Stacy made the day enjoyable for the whole family, especially your kids. It’s great to hear that her knowledge and teaching background really came through during the tour. Glad you could leave the driving to us and simply enjoy the views! Into the Wild Tours

The best way to visit two stunning landmarks
Our superb guide, Stacey, made the whole experience very special with her detailed knowledge of the area, highlighting points of interest en route to both the Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Complimentary hot drinks were provided and Stacey ensured that we had ample time to explore both of these magnificent lakes, guiding us safely and suggesting trails to avoid the inevitable busy spots. Our experience was enhanced by travelling as part of a small friendly group. So glad we chose Into the Wild to explore these iconic places.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the lovely review! We’re so glad Stacey made your visit to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise such a special experience and helped you find some quieter spots along the way. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the small group experience too. Thanks for choosing Into the Wild Tours! All the best, Into the Wild Tours

Moraine and Louise trip
We booked this trip last minute because we were not able to get the shuttle on Parks Canada website. 2 hours at each Moraine and Louise was perfect. Our guide Jeremy was prompt picking us up and was very informative along the drive. Once we arrived we were able to do what we wanted but he was available to aide customers that needed assistance. Jeremy was great. Highly recommended
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re really glad to hear that your last-minute booking worked out so well and that you were able to enjoy both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise at a comfortable pace. It’s great to know the timing worked perfectly for you. Jeremy will be very happy to hear your kind words. He takes a lot of pride in being punctual, informative, and ensuring guests feel supported throughout the tour while still having the freedom to explore at their own pace. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the Rockies in the future!

Fabulous days in Banff
I had booked both a Gondola Ride and a trip to both Lake Louise and Lake Moraine with Neil Parry. Now Neil was extremely helpful in reassuring me on what time to see both places. He was hands on when I didn't fully understand meeting points etc and always replied back either via WhatsApp or phone. Would highly recommend him
Response from the operator: Hi, we really appreciate you taking the time to share this — thank you. We’re so glad to hear Neil was able to make your experience smooth and stress-free. He really does his best to stay available and make sure guests feel comfortable with timings, meeting points, and everything in between, so it’s great to know that he came through for you. Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you on another trip in the future!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.
How much does 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.
Is 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 hour Moraine Lake Tour from Banff and Canmore start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Banff?
+
On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, ShuttleBus 2way Banff to Lake Louise (1Hr) and Moraine Lake (1Hr). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Banff?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Banff?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
