A good history lesson

Our guide Noble is excellent. Sophia also was efficient and attended to our requests promptly. A good experience.

Great service from start to finish!

Booked directly and was dealing with Sheron, from the very beginning she was fantastic and able to tailor the tour to the certain cites that we wanted to see. From the time of booking and closer to the time of the trip, she had provided us with a WhatsApp and WeChat contact number so we could ask any questions during that time period - even payment to them was nice and easy. Once on the trip, our guide Summer was amazing, she was able to tell us all of the stories and history of Xi’an and even slowed some parts of the tour time to accommodate my elderly parents. Because we were on a small tour of just the 4 of us, they really made it a personable experience. All admission fees were included in the package as well as the driver we had, who once again, was very lovely and recommended good spots to eat out close to our hotel!

Wonderful Xi'an Experience

We booked a five-day tour with China Xi'an Tour for our group of seven, which consisted of two families. Sophia was our liaison officer. We had searched for a tour company on the internet, found China Xi'an Tour with a high rating, and proceeded to make contact. Sophia was prompt in her replies, (unfortunately for her) even after office hours and on weekends, as this was the only time I could come down to personal matters like making arrangements for my holiday. She was patient to answer all my queries and settled our concerns through clear provision of information as this was our first trip to China. The arrangements she made were well thought-through. Her communications were clear and timely. The driver and guide that were allocated to us were reliable and professional. She allowed for adjustments in the itinerary according to circumstances; it was fuss-free. She genuinely took our interests to heart, quickly securing tickets for a show we had wanted to see and offering excellent recommendations, including the best seating options. Although the fees charged by the company seemed a little higher in comparison, the quality of service and the fuss-free holiday we experienced were worth the price. In addition, the company allocated an experienced and able tour guide to us, which cemented our Xi'an experience. Noble Liu spent four days with us, taking us from historical sites (e.g., the Terracotta Warriors Museum, Xi'an Museum, Big and Small Goose Pagodas ) to natural sites (e.g., Huashan) to local cultural must-sees (e.g., Grand Everbright City, day and night markets). Across all these genres, he ably taught, shared, enlightened and guided, allowing us to appreciate the depth and breadth of Chinese history and what Xi'an could offer. His personable demeanor coupled with his skillset of time and itinerary management gave us a tour that maximised our time without feeling stressed or fatigued. His recommendations and advice were on-point and the quality of his care for the group is commendable. Noble is also fluent in both Chinese and English. The quality of his explanations in both languages is laudable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Xi'an. We highly recommend China Xian Tour, and Noble as a guide.

Response from the operator: Dear, we appreciate you sharing your wonderful journey with us. We are so glad to hear you have enjoyed our service. Our team are always at your service and sincerely hope to serve you again soon! Best regards!

4 days Xi'an trip to Terracotta warrior and Mt Huashan

My daughter and I booked the 4 days Xi'an trip on 1 October 2024 via the China Tour website. The booking online went well as transport and pick up were arranged to hotel and vice versa and cost about SGD $ 1500. The tour guide Noble Liu met us and guided us to the inner city wall, the wild goose padoga and to the Terracotta warrior museum. He was very knowledgeable and knows the historical facts very well. Since he is bilingual and conversant in the English language, we had him explained to us in English all the facts of the site (drawing the curiosity of the locals) seeing all three Chinese speaking in English. He even prepared photos of the site from his mobile phone to show us the details. We were impressed by his depth and learnt a lot from him. Thanks Noble, the company and also the second guide Mr Kai for the wonderful and memorable trip. Coupled with the wonderful weather, we couldn't ask for more.

Response from the operator: we appreciate you sharing your wonderful journey with us. We are so glad to hear you have enjoyed our service. And if you like our service, I am really appreciate if you can recommend us to your friends, and feel free to contact with me, there are many wonderful routes like Tibet, Silk road and Xinjiang as well. Our team are always at your service and sincerely hope to serve you again soon! Best regards!

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Xian?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Xian?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
