A wonderful experience!

A fabulous all round experience. The walks were challenging but well worth the effort. Beautiful remote scenery with sightings of a large pod of dolphins, cute echidnas, kangaroos, shingle backs etc. Barry was most knowledgeable about the history of the area and the flora and fauna plus very supportive when the hike got a little tough. Our accommodation was most comfortable. Then there was the food and beverages. Stunning restaurant quality meals served in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Barry, Jane and the whole team. We highly recommend this wonderful four day adventure.

Response from the operator: Dear Rosemary, Thank you for your review. We are glad your group enjoyed the different aspects of scenery, trail interpretation that made this such a memorable exprience for you.

Fabulous Coastal Walk

This walk was a fabulous experience. The coastline is amazing, the Guide is friendly and knowledgeable. He has lived in the area for over 30 years and knows so much about the fauna, flora and even the geology of the area. The highlight of my walk was seeing a pod of twenty dolphins surfing the waves. Accommodation and food is amazingly good. It is a coastal walk, but don't be fooled by the word "coastal". There are many challenging parts of the walk.

Response from the operator: Dear Ann, thank you for your lovely review. Yes, observing the dolphins frolic from our strategic vantage point is always a crowd pleaser. Glad you enjoyed the walk.

Great time

Thank you for a wonderful 4 days in your beautiful part of Australia. The walk was breath taking, challenging and lots of fun. The evenings were filled with great meals prepared with local ingredients, wines and interesting conversations explaining not only the preparation of the meals but the interactions within the communities in the area. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and friendly - the mob of local kangaroos added to the experience. I so enjoyed my visit and my walk. Thank you Jane, Barry, Jen, TJ and Fraser - I had a great time.

Response from the operator: Dear Merridy, Thank you for your lovely review. As a 'first timer' on a multi-day walk you did really well and we hope it has wetted your appetite for more adventures like this.

4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.

How much does 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia cost?

+

Prices start at $2885 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 96-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia?

+

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Private Walking Tour in South Australia start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Adelaide?

+

On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Adelaide?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Adelaide?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
