A perfect safari from start to finish

We booked the safari directly with Bujo Tours. It all worked out very well. Both the communication, trip overview and description, as well as the execution and payment. Our guide Freddy took great care of us, explained a lot and we saw a lot of animals up close. He was also very concerned with the environment, did not drive too fast and the car was turned off at every stop. We can fully recommend Bujo Tours.

Wild Tanzania between Kili and safari: the experience of a lifetime! 1000% recomm

Bujo and his crew are simply amazing, really willing to go the extra mile for a customer. I decided point blank to go climb Kilimanjaro by myself, and I took their 6 days package via Marangu route (huts, no camping), and I got referred to Bujo tours by a friend. The pickup - drop off service from Moshi/arusha works a wonder, and the driver, Jeff, had an amazing sense of humour. With the help of Bujo’s Everest-skilled guy, Nassoro, and 2 fantastic porters, Raheem and Mussa, we managed it in just 5 days! While I was away, I also asked Bujo to set me up for Safari and he managed to squeeze me in a 4-day trip to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire national parks, and it’s been the experience of a lifetime, where I met wonderful fellow travellers, and saw the most incredible shows Mother Nature has to offer. All this for reasonable price, and an excellent price-quality ratio, especially for mildly expensive activities such as high-altitude hiking expeditions and safari game drives. 1000% recommended, don’t waste more time researching ☀️

    Great Way to Experience Tanzania

This safari was truly the highlight of my time in Tanzania. When my friend first suggested that we travel to Zanzibar I immediately said that there was no way I was going to journey all the way to the eastern coast of Africa without even looking into a Safari. We then began to research safaris and quickly discovered that there is a very wide range of what you can get based on what you are willing to spend. This 4 day safari ended up providing the absolute best value for what we were willing to spend. Our guide, Antony, was so much fun to be around and incredibly knowledgeable. He was also an incredible driver which is a very important detail because you do end up spending so much of the safari in the car, Day 2 ended up being about 9 hours of driving from Mikumi to Nyerere. There are definitely some crazy drivers in Tanzania so having Antony behind the wheel provided so much comfort during the long drives between national parks. The two parks that we visited were Mikumi and Nyerere National Parks. I think they provide great exposure to the different types of landscapes you can find throughout Tanzania. Mikumi was more grasslands and Nyerere was more bushlands. Both provided incredible views of wildlife but we did see pretty much the same animals in both parks. The lodges we stayed at on Safari ended up being some of the nicest rooms that we had on the entirety of our trip. Both lodges offered pretty similar experiences with pools and wifi. They were very clean and if I was trying to stay longer in the region they would definitely be at the top of my list for where to stay. Overall I would recommend Bujo tours and Antony with absolutely zero hesitation.

    Mikumi & Nyerere NP

I spent 4 very nice days in the south of Tanzania. The group I joined and the driver Tony were the best company. If you don’t want to travel alone, I can highly recommend to do a safari by joining a group.

4 Days Lodge Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does 4 Days Lodge Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $1,847 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Lodge Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Lodge Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Lodge Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Lodge Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Lodge Safari?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Lodge Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
