Desert tour

We had a great time in the desert! We saw and did some very interesting and fun things like sand boarding and a tour of the desert and communities here. The hotels we stayed in were a great escape from the heat and the food was great! One of the highlights was the bus ride back with Mustafa and the information he gave us along the way. He made a bus ride that we weren’t looking forward to really exciting.

Great tour!!

Mustafa was a great driver from Merzouga to Fez. Also Chaimae and Oussama from Marrakesh to Merzouga were fantastic. Higly recommended!

From Merzouga to Marrakech

The five stars is for Hamid who took us from Merzouga to Marrakech. He was an excellent driver and was very helpful and on time. As for the rest for the 4 day tour. It isn't really one tour with all the same people. It's multiple vendors taking you here and there. From Fes to Merzouga it was more of transfer rather than a guided tour. We were not given any explanation about the places we stopped at. We paid extra to upgrade to 'luxury' accommodation. The Merzouga one was not very good but the one in Ouarzazat was nice. I had to email the tour operator several times to find out about pick up times so we could be ready. I believe the organisation of it all could be better especially with the transition of different days. I thought I would go on a tour with the same people for 4 days and 3 nights but this was not the case. My daughter and I enjoyed the trip. I think the operator could be more transparent with the fact that it is not a tour with the same driver and people but organised days with different operators

Unforgettable 4-Day Merzouga Desert Adventure

I had an amazing four-day trip to the Merzouga desert. Everything was very well organized, and I felt really well taken care of throughout the journey. The food was also good, and overall the whole experience was fantastic. One of the highlights was the return to Fez with our driver Mustafa – it made the trip even more enjoyable.

Good route

The driver, Noufel, has been very friendly and has been a very dynamic route. You have made the transfer from Merzouga to Fez. We are very grateful for the treatment received.

4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga cost?

+

Prices start at $380 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Fantastic Desert Tour From Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

+

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ), 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes/Marrakech via Erg Chebbi, Fes To Marrakech : 3 Days Tour Via The Desert Of Merzouga & Camel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
