Get Maarufu and you'll have a great trip
We had a great time with Maarufu (Mr famous) - I highly recommend you ask for him and do this tour. The boat ride on first day was average - but the rest of the trip was terrific

An excellent safari experience
It was an excellent all round experience. I would definitely book with them again. Its definitely value for money. I loved their flexibility and speed of response due to which I booked them. The guide Mr. William was amazing and made sure we had a great experience. We absolutely wanted to see a lion and he made sure we get to see a whole pride of them. Overall they took care of us and made sure we had a safe experience.

Great experience
We did the 4 days tour with William in October with my family. We were 5 adults and 3 kids aged between 3 and 9 years old. William was great with us, we saw amazing animals, he knows a lot about them and did everything to make our experience unforgettable. The parks are so beautiful and we saw the animals and babies very close. I recommend!

Excellent guide and amazing trip
We had a great experience. Our guide Michael was excellent and had not only an amazing knowledge of the wildlife but also was able to spot some really rare species on our drives. We saw lions, hippos, giraffes, warthogs, elephants, as well as rarer Elands in both parks. He also gave us a good insight into the life and politics of Tanzania. He is a great ambassador for his country. Kihindo have everything very well organised and the whole trip ran so smoothly.

Beyond our wildest expectations
The team at Kihindo Tours tailored our Safari experience to ensure we have an unforgettable time in Tanzania. Our five days included: • Boat tour along the Rufiji River (spectacular birds and reptiles) • Full day at Nyerere National Park (epic landscapes and stunning wildlife around every corner) • Bushwalk experience in Mwaseni (insightful guide with in-depth knowledge of Botanics) • Full day at Mikumi National Park (breathtaking wildlife in open savanna, we even saw a leopard!!) • Accommodation and food were of high standard, exceeded expectations which made this Safari excellent value for money. The most lasting impression for us is left by our guide, Michael. Michael is an exceptional human, truly dedicated and a joy to be around. As a guide, he is extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm and respect towards the wildlife is infectious. He is professional, always punctual and a highly skilled driver - on and off road! We have learned so much from Michael during our game drives and also really enjoyed our meals together, during which we were able to learn a bit more about Tanzania's culture and current affairs. We cannot wait to come back and visit the other National Parks.
