Perfect!
We would like to thank Mikumi Holiday Safaris for an unforgettable, exceptional, and beautiful experience they made possible for us. We saw all the animals up close, several times a day — lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, giraffes… simply amazing! We stayed for two nights, and everything was perfectly organized. From transportation directly from our hotel in Zanzibar to Mikumi in Tanzania, to the accommodation, meals, safari, and the return transfer back to our hotel. We can highly recommend this company!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for trusting Mikumi Holiday Safaris with your adventure. We are truly happy to hear that you had an unforgettable and beautiful experience with us. It means a lot to know that you enjoyed seeing so many animals up close in Mikumi National Park and that everything was perfectly organized for your two-night safari. Our team always works hard to make sure every detail is smooth, from the transport from your hotel in Zanzibar, to the accommodation, meals, game drives, and your return journey. Your kind words and recommendation really motivate us to continue providing the best possible service to our guests. We hope to welcome you again in the future for another amazing safari experience in Tanzania. Thank you once again! 😊

Terrible experience, rude staff, avoid at all cost!
Avoid this company at all costs. They lie about emglish speak guides, our guide didnt speak a word of english and was very very rude. When it was pourimg he was refusing to put up the car shades. They also only set is with a driver, and no guide. He was driving very rough and was on his phone the entire time. The safari car was in terrible condition, filthy and uncomfortable. Honestly, it felt like a scam. There are several other companies with friendly staff, avoid this one!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. First of all, we are truly very sorry for the bad experience you had with one of our driver guides. This is not the level of service we aim to provide at Mikumi Holiday Safaris. After investigating the situation, we have taken action and he is no longer part of our team. Secondly, we would like to clarify that the guide assigned to you was not only a driver. He is a professional driver guide who normally works with us and speaks both English and French. This is why we selected him for your safari. However, what happened during your trip was not acceptable, and we sincerely apologize for this. We have also had a serious meeting with all of our guides and drivers. We made it very clear that any behavior that is rude, unprofessional, unsafe, or disrespectful to clients will not be tolerated under any circumstances. On the following day, we took immediate action by changing both the vehicle and the guide for you. In addition, although your package included only one half-day safari, we arranged both a morning and an evening safari at no extra cost so that you could have a better experience. When we spoke in person, you mentioned that you were happy and that you enjoyed the rest of the safari, which gave us hope that the situation had improved. However, we fully respect your right to share your honest feedback. Your comments help us improve, and we take them seriously. We sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience and disappointment caused, and we remain committed to ensuring this never happens again. Thank you.

2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dar es Salaam.
How much does 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park cost?
+
Prices start at $600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dar es Salaam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dar es Salaam is not rushed.
Is 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 70 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Dar es Salaam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park?
+
Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dar es Salaam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dar es Salaam and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dar es Salaam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dar es Salaam?
+
On Outty we rank every Dar es Salaam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 1-Day Mikumi National Park Fly-In Safari from Zanzibar, 3 Days Safari to Mikumi NP - Accommodation Inside the Park, 2 Days 1 Night Mikumi National Park from Dar es salaam. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dar es Salaam?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dar es Salaam?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park?
+
Included: Private transportation; Lunch; All Fees and Taxes; Dinner; and Breakfast. Not included: tips and alcoholic drinks. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

+

What languages is 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park offered in?
+
