Above and Beyond
I cannot speak more highly of this company. My driver Abdul was kind, friendly and took such good care of us. And they went above and beyond. On my last day in Marrakech my phone got taken right out of hands by someone on motorcycle. My tour was over, and they had no further obligation to me but Abdul and Rachid took care of me start to finish and I felt like I was in the best safe hands and among friends. They took me to buy a new phone and dropped me to the airport while helping me set it up all on a Saturday. The itinerary was as laid out for us and the accommodations recommended to us were excellent- comfortable and well worth the money. Overall the tour was great. It was truly above and beyond and I would never hesitate to recommend them to my friends or family.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your kind review. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your desert trip and that everything went well, from the itinerary to the accommodations. Abdul will be very pleased to know that you appreciated his service and care. We are also glad we could help you during the situation in Marrakech. Even after the tour, it is important for us that our guests feel safe and supported. It was our pleasure to assist you. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation. We hope to welcome you again in Morocco in the future. Best regards, Rachid

Highly recommended once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After reading reviews about the length of time spent travelling from Marrakesh to Merzouga, we opted for the 4 days/3 nights visit. A great choice if time allows - the tour was relaxed with plenty of time for sightseeing and stops to admire the stunning scenery. The riads we stayed in were lovely, with good food and the desert camp had all mod cons and private facilities, whilst still ensuring we knew we were in the Sahara. It is a long travel, but plenty of sights to visit along the way and totally worth it. The camel trekking through the sand dunes was awesome. The experience was made even better by our guide, Abdellah, and driver, Idriss. Abdellah was very knowledgeable and great company. His English is excellent and he was happy to answer questions, take photos and have a joke. He was very attentive, helpful and polite - really lovely man. And Idriss’s driving was great - the mountain roads were extremely narrow and windy in many places, but I never had cause to worry - glad he was driving, and not me or my husband! Fabulous experience and we have unforgettable memories. Thank you

One of my best tour experience ever
I went for a 5 day adventure and I got a trip of a life time! Our Guide tour Abdula and the driver Idriss were so professional and knowledgeable. In 5 days we covered 5 different cities hitting the most iconic site seen places without being rushed. The hotels we stayed were 5 stars and of course super charming with that authentic Morocco style. The food was excellent and the shopping too. Overall the experience in Morocco has been one of the best trips in my life and this is my 43rd country I have visited. I totally recommend Discover Morocco Tours for your next Morocco trip and book Abdula and Idriss to tour you around which ever tour you choose! Cheers!

Great tour of an exotic country!
Discover Morocco tours was great to work with! We were able to customize our trip to be five days and four nights to get a circular tour. Abdullah was our guide and Idris was our driver. Both were exceptional and we received incredible information and the drive was done safely the entire time. We received an plan that allowed us to see the mountains, visit a kasbah, stay in a luxury desert camp, visit Fes, explorer Rabat, see Roman ruins, see the amazing mosque in Casablanca and return to Marrakech. The tour showcases this incredible country and is rather fast paced due to distances between locations. Time was limited but I would have changed the pace to be slower to have more time in the desert and a few other locations. Again this can be customized and the company is great for that! We loved the experience and we loved our guides! Such a great and exciting place to visit!
Response from the operator: Dear Jeffrey, Thank you so much for your kind review and for choosing Discover Morocco Tours. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your 5 day circular tour and that the itinerary allowed you to see so many amazing places , from the mountains and kasbahs to Fes, Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakech. Abdullah and Idriss will be very happy to hear your kind words. We take pride in providing safe, comfortable, and informative experiences, and it is wonderful to know that this made your trip special. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you back to Morocco for another adventure in the future! Best regards, Rachid Discover Morocco Tours Team

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $268 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 27 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4 Day Merzouga Desert Trip from Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, From Marrakech To Essaouira Mogador Full Day Trip | Small-group, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
