Unforgettable trek with an outstanding guide

Great experience with the Mardi Himal trek. The team was very flexible and open to customization, and quickly adjusted my itinerary after my delayed international flight. My guide, Biru, was excellent and provided everything you’d expect from a professional guide. He made the whole trek smooth and enjoyable. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Would definitely recommend.

    Amazing Mardi Himal Trek Experience

I’m extremely satisfied with my Mardi Himal trekking experience. It was my very first trek in Nepal, and it exceeded all my expectations!!!! My guide, Kim, did everything possible to make sure the trek went smoothly and comfortably. He was incredibly kind, supportive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I was completely blown away by the views, enjoyed every moment and just couldn’t stop looking around. All in all, if you are thinking about doing this trek, it’s absolutely worth it!

    Amazing trek with Birendra!

We had the best experience with our trekking guide, Birendra. He was so welcoming and the kindest person. He helped us with everything, including the trekking permits and all of our transport. We were super excited during the three months leading up to our trek, and Birendra quickly answered all of our questions before we left. The trek was beautiful and very beginner-friendly! This was our first trek and won't be our last thanks to Birendra.

    Really great tour

Really great tour and Birendra was a great guide. He explained a lot on the surroundings and supported us through the entire hike. It's been so nice to do the hike with him. We booked 4 days tour but it can easily be done in 3 days. Would recommend!

    Amazing experience

We did the 4-day Mardi Himal Trek from Pokhara with Can Travel Pvt. Ltd. and it was one of the best trekking experiences we’ve ever had! From the very beginning, the communication with the company was clear and professional. They helped us arrange the permits, transportation, and even gave us great packing advice before we left. Our guide Krishna Adhikari was outstanding: Super knowledgeable about the trails, culture, and mountain environment Very supportive and patient with the group’s pace Always made sure we were safe and comfortable Took great photos for us and shared lots of local stories Prepared delicious Nepali tea on breaks The trek itself was beautiful — spectacular views of Machapuchare, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli, lush forests, quiet villages, and that magical sunrise at Mardi Himal Base Camp. The lodges were clean and comfortable, the food was tasty, and Krishna always checked on everyone’s wellbeing. Overall this exceeded our expectations — perfect for both first-time trekkers and experienced hikers who want a slightly quieter route than the more crowded trails.

4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.

How much does 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara cost?

    +

Prices start at $290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.

Is 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Day Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek from Pokhara start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Pokhara?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pokhara?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pokhara?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
