Hwange, Vic Falls and Chobe
We had the most amazing experience!!!! 3 Days in Hwange National Park. The Hwange Safari Lodge is a very comfortable place to stay and having Spence as a tour guide was fantastic he let us have time at the water holes in the afternoons to watch the elephants come in. Watching the water hole back at the Lodge of a night was great, seeing all the animals coming in for a drink. Victoria Falls, the sunset cruise was beautiful and the night safari was so exciting we saw 6 rhino's then had a delicious BBQ under the stars. Moving onto Chobe we were travelling as a group of 4 and had great accomodation near a little shopping centre. Chobe was a lot busier than Hwange NP but still we got to see a lot of animals and birds with Gift as a tour guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an amazing experience across Hwange, Victoria Falls, and Chobe. It’s fantastic to know that you enjoyed your stay at Hwange Safari Lodge and that Spence made your time at the waterholes so special—those quiet moments watching elephants and other wildlife are truly unforgettable. We’re also glad you loved the lodge’s waterhole experience at night, it’s always a highlight! Your time in Victoria Falls sounds equally memorable—from the beautiful sunset cruise to the excitement of the night safari and spotting rhinos, topped off with a BBQ under the stars. And while Chobe can be a bit busier, we’re so pleased you still had great sightings and a comfortable stay, with Gift ensuring you had an enjoyable experience. We truly appreciate you choosing to travel with us and sharing your journey. We hope to welcome you back again for another unforgettable safari adventure!

Truly amazing experience hosted by a well oiled machine.
All of the drivers, Simon, Shelton and Louis were on time and knowledgeable. They gave a lot of information along to way to our destinations. Safaris were high quality and food was delicious. Our hotel Samanzi was incredible. My only complaint is I think information should be given about the Visa process. I bought a single entry and needed a multiple so I ended up spending an additional $90 for 3 more.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re delighted to hear that Simon, Shelton, and Louis made your journey smooth with their punctuality, knowledge, and care. It’s also wonderful that you enjoyed the quality safaris, delicious meals, and especially your stay at Samanzi Lodge. We truly appreciate your feedback about the visa process. Border requirements can sometimes be a little tricky, and your note will help us improve how we communicate this information to future guests so they are better prepared. We’re sorry for the extra cost you incurred and will make sure to highlight visa details more clearly going forward. It was our pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you again for another memorable adventure!

Highly recommend this tour.
This trip couldn’t have been better. Our tour guide Simon met us at the airport and took care of us the whole trip. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about all things concerning Zimbabwe and Botswana. The hike around Victoria Falls was relaxing, no stress and amazing views and wildlife. On the trip to Hwange, Simon explained Zimbabwe cultural life and village/tribal living. Had great wildlife viewing there. The next day Simon took us into Botswana where we met a guide that took us to Chobe. Amazing. Cannot say enough good things about this tour.
Response from the operator: Hi It was a pleasure hosting you and thank you for your awesome review, as Cuckoo Safaris we train our guide to meet and exceed our guests expectations. Thank you read less.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.
How much does 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park cost?
+
Prices start at $1,100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.
Is 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-Day Discover Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange Park start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?
+
On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side), Zambezi River Class IV-V White-Water Rafting from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia: Guided Tour of the Falls from Both Sides. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
